Second Central Cal meet May 27th

Hi All

I thought that it might be a good idea to start letting everyone know about the second annual central cal meet at Mount Diablo this coming May 27th. I will be down for my brother in laws birthday on the 26th in Vacaville and anticipate going to this meet again. Last year there were 6 of us, lets make it a higher count this year. The views from 3800 + feet is amazing, you can see SF and the Golden Gate bridge and if it is very clear you can see the Sierra's, Yosemite and Mount Shasta 300 miles north.

Hello martin, would this be near the state park? Im not too familiar with Mount Diablo. But, i would be interest in going, hoping i have some time off that month. But PM or post a thread on directions. Thanks Martin!

The second annual central cal meet is coming up this May 26th at the top of Mount Diablo. Six of us showed up last year. I searched the roc site and found over 40 members that are in the bay area and contacted them via e-mail and private messages, I sent twenty e-mails and 17 private messages tonight and may find more to send over the weekend. I started this meet last year because I grew up near the mountain and thought it was a great place to meet and take photos of our trucks. I hope that we can get over ten rls together this meet. The mountain is spetacular, the views are unbelievable. I look forward to meeting new members and reuniting with old ones.

Martin, thanks for the heads up. I'll be there. For anyone planning on attending from the Sacramento area, let's arrange a caravan to Mt. D. Anyone interested? Basically from Interstate 80 to Interstate 680 then to Mt D, everyone in between is invited.
