Sundays On Long Island, N.Y.

I'm just posting to see if you guys and ladies would to have winter meet. If yes, I have a plan in mine. Any Sunday, nice days only, at Captree Boat Basin. From 7:30 am thru 12:00pm there are anywhere from 200 min. to 500 cars and trucks there to show off. This would be a last minute thing, because of the winter weather.
If you would like setup a meet at the beginning of April. (To meet mid Long Island and that a ride out east, (wine country) and then dinner together.
Please reply and let's get it rolling.

Hey guys and girls, I am new to the club but I live in East Islip so the meeting place is perfect. I'll see if I can get the troops together early.

A spring outing sounds great. I have been awful busy on the weekends these days. I might be able to reserve a private beach for a picnic as an alternative if anyone wants to travel to the end of the earth on Long Island - Eatons Neck.

That sounds pretty AWESOME !!! Who would have a problem driving to the end's of the Earth in their Ridgelines anyway !!! :) Just get the Direction Sheets Ready....... :D :cool:

The Beach would work in the summer. You said it's a private beach? Can we take our trucks on it. I have a :rolleyes: idear: A weekend this Beach one day and the wine country the next day. What do you think.

no ridgelines at captree...from 830 -1030 - many other clubs though...vette, muscle, fast n furious types maybe another time...

What happened to everyone last Sunday? I packed up my crew, ages 3, 2 and 6 months, and drove over to find 3 cars and no Ridgelines. Is the Long Island Ridgeline crew a fair weather group? You should have heard what my littles ones were saying about you guys. Can't repeat what they calling you guys. My virgin ears. Just kidding!!! When are we going to try again? Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Can't drive on the beaches where I live. There is a small parking lot for about 40 cars and a private beach where kids can chase Horseshoe crabs and parents can have a barbeque.

The Beach would work for the Summer. I would like to say, Yes on fair weather people. What about this sunday morning at Captree, if it's no raining or snowing. I would call it, "Just to Meet All". This time I will show up and buy all the first cup of coffee, tea, and for the littles Scotch. Just joking. Super Bowl Sunday

hey al..i'm off every other weekend..so this weekend i am off.. but i gotta tell you - be glad you stayed home.. it was friggin cold out there this weekend.. :eek: - being that cold it probably would have turned out to be a 10-15 min meet and then see ya.. here hoping for an early spring..

You can say that, it cold outside. We make a min meet in the spring.

this past weekend was nice... too bad i had to work... this coming weekend i am currently off and the weather should cooperate...50 degrees.. if you guys are planning on going to captree- give me a heads up...i'll swing down there...later jim
