Westin bull bar ?'s... again

I'm intrested in the Westin bar and have a couple questions,

Should I go with the 2.5 " or the 3" ?

Can someone let me know how far they stick out, from the bumper ? ( front of bumper to front of BB ?)

Where's the best place to buy ? I've found, 265.00 inc. ship on the 2.5"/ black.

Mine measures 3" and was ordered as a 3". :confused: Haven't check into this since March '06. My minimum clearance is 1.5" and below is link some other pics of it on the truck.

Actually, if I had to do over again, I really like the look of djeaux's G Tech brush guard on his great truck. Something to consider.

The diamention I'm looking is front edge of bumper to front edge of BB, really not clearance.

That looks good on the white RL... mine's white also.

On my truck:
At the outside edges, the distance is 4.5" to outside of bar (1.5"+3")
In the center, the distance is 3.75" to outside of bar (.75"+3")
