Has anyone installed the OEM fender flares... love the truck, but I'm getting a few too many paint chips around the wheel wells for a 6 month old truck!

If you search the forum, you will get a lot information about Fender Flares, including pictures. I got them, but waiting for a warmer temp. to install. The installation manual suggests the ambient temp. of at list 60F.

ridgeline2006, Have yours come with rear mud flaps? I looked through the installation manual and it lists rear mud flaps as the part of the kit, yet, the pictures in the link you provided clearly show the RL with the Flares but without rear mud flaps.

My mistake. I looked again and here they where, right in place.

The mud flaps are included both front and rear. The picture does not show clearly because of the black tire. Sorry about that....

ridgeline2006, I checked your pictures. This is one very sharp looking truck. Are these OEM back-up sensors? Also, I noticed you list both a navigation and an MP3 player. Were you able to install an OEM MP3 player, or was it some sort of aftermarket?

Yes, Raplon I had OEM backup sensors installed. The MP3 is one of Honda's mistakes. If you don't have NAV you can have OEM MP3, however if you do have NAV you can't. Well it don't make sense to me but what do I know. I install a mount by RAM and I use my ipod.

You know Honda drop the ball again, they could have installed the cd/mp3 player as the unit behind the NAV just like the CD player only. I just purchased a Infiniti G35 and It has a 6 CD player that can play MP3's, so you have to wonder why Honda couldn't do this. I guess it all about money....

Raplon post some picture when you can, I would like to see what you have done..

I am sure it is all about money. One wonders about Honda's many decisions. They make good vehicles, but overall ownership experience is far from the best. After two Acuras and two Hondas (RL is the second one), the thing I hate the most is their accessories thing. Why not offer stuff like back-up sensors, rear view camera, fog lights, hitch, automatic rear view mirror and even tonneau cover as the factory installed options, perhaps combined in packages. I hate the fact that you have to disassemble halve of your brand new vehicle in order to install them. They could at list prewire, predrill and prepare everything. I had a SAAB once, bought an accessory trunk mounting CD changer. All I had to do is to connect existing connectors and screw some bolts into existing holes. What reason other then saving money and giving their dealers a chance to make some more can explain this? What other automaker does something like this?

I am installing a lot of accessories. Mostly OEM. Right now, if you saw my thread about my back-up sensors problem, I am trying to solve that. Here is another thing. Just because it is an accessory there is no mentioning of them in Factory Service Manual. Not even a wiring diagram. If it were an optional equipment it would be there. Even more; if it were an optional equipment I wouldn't have to deal with it at all. It would be working perfectly from the day one. Otherwise I would take it back to the dealer for warranty repair. I am trying to find someone with connections to a Honda dealership to get the wiring diagram in order to troubleshoot.
Once I am done, I will post pictures and description of what was done. Don't want to do it prematurely.

From all the pics, I see only the rear fender flairs. Are there front fender flairs too??? They don't seem to show up on the pics well.
