KPierson 02-05-2007, 07:51 PM Is there any interest in a 2nd KPtechnologies window roll up module?
This is the module that allows you to raise the windows from the OEM keyless entry remote. This group buy will most likely include the ability to close the rear window as an option (RL exclusive).
Lingered_I 02-05-2007, 07:54 PM For an unbiased review, I have this module and can definitely recommend it.
I am in no way associated to KPtechnologies - just a satisfied customer, kind of wishing I'd hung on for the rear-window mod. Oh well.

I second those statements, Lingered_I. (I think I wore out my fob battery though!)
I think I could use the first one on my '05 Accord?! Switcho Chango? :D
Just Ask 02-05-2007, 08:13 PM Put me down for one...I was just awaiting a GP!!
Timekiller 02-05-2007, 09:38 PM I def. would like one..
I was going to wait till the spring or till another group buy came up!
well, the time is now.
MoosePond 02-05-2007, 10:00 PM Count me IN!
btw, did you ever make any progress on a moonroof module?
KPierson 02-07-2007, 04:10 AM Thread opened back up.
Again, is there enough interest to run this group buy?
KPtechnologies also has a 'one touch' sunroof module that works with the Ridgeline. If there is interest in that we can include it.
We typically like to see 15-20 people interested in a product to bring the price down enough to make it worth the time.
The window module is currently $49.99 plus shipping and the one touch module is $44.99. More information about both modules can be found at www.KPtechnologies.com.
Thank you,
Kevin
geotech 02-07-2007, 04:51 AM Kevin,
I would be able to take your current module off the Ridge and put it on my '05 Accord?
Your new module closes the sliding back window, right? If so, I'm in!
KPierson 02-07-2007, 05:57 AM Yes, they will swap out 100%. They are the exact same module except for the added output to close the rear window.
It should also be possible to add the extra wire needed to your existing wire harness so all you have to do is unplug it, hook up the rear window stuff, and plug it back in. You can then use the 'new' harness for your Accord.
MoosePond 02-07-2007, 06:39 AM For those of you who are not yet acquainted with KP Technologies and their ingenious modules, here's what they do:
Window module - allows you to close ALL of your windows (front, rear and now the sliding rear) with your remote/key. Invaluable if you've just unloaded all of your groceries, have your hands full of little plastic bags and realize that you've forgotton to close your windows and the weatherman is predicting rain later today!
Moonroof module - allows for "one touch" opening/closing of your moonroof (similar to what the "auto down" button does for opening the driver's door window). Doesn't work with your remote/key but I think that would probably require some additional wiring.
Here's a great chance to get either or both at a special ROC Group Buy so jump in and let's get Kevin the 15-20 he's looking for.
kameleon 02-07-2007, 08:54 AM im down for both!!! let me know?
Timekiller 02-07-2007, 09:10 AM Yup still interested in the window module. Keep me posted!
Erock40 02-07-2007, 09:16 AM I could probably swing that:D
How hard are these modules to install??
bongus 02-07-2007, 10:05 PM Okay KP, I have both the window up and sun roof mods. I would like to add the rear window feature...so, count me in and tell me what I need to do to add the rear window feature. TIA.
djeaux 02-08-2007, 09:11 AM Put me down for the window module only. When there are enough, let us know the details for ordering.
Question about the new rear window feature: Does the module "ignore" the back window if it's not open?
Question about the installation: Is it really as easy as the web instructions look?
Thanks!
firstdog 02-08-2007, 10:28 AM Interested in the Windows model. Let me know how to order.

I installed both the window up mod and the sunroof mod. I must say they are both very easy to install. If you don't mind pulling panels and separating some wire loom, you should not have a problem. Just follow the wire colors that KPT has isolated and you should be fine. I've had mine installed for more than 7 months with no issues...it's a great product.

Yelp, just be careful about the getting the panel off (and don't accidently lock yourself out! Who me???)
Mr Fix 02-08-2007, 12:32 PM I'm interested in both. Let me know.

Does this now allow you to open the sliding rear with the remote also?
WFO911 02-09-2007, 01:31 PM Put me down for the full treatment, sounds cool and useful. Now if i could just get something to turn the dome lights off when my kids leave them on...
Thanks
KPierson 02-11-2007, 06:40 PM You will NOT be able to open the rear window with this module. This module only adds closing to the windows.
If you are interested in adding the rear window feature to your current module contact me and we can work something out.
I started an 'official' group buy thread:

MoosePond 02-23-2007, 05:57 AM KP Technologiesis is definitely a class act! Just received a note from PayPal that they've refunded $19.50 to my account for my KPT Window Module purchase. Kevin, thanks for the great service and awesome products and congratulations on what appears to have been a very successful ROC group buy.

I'll double down on that sentiment! I got my refund notice & Kevin has given me some serious assistance with the problem I had with the rear slider feature going on vacation. His operation is definitely, definitely a class act!
