mapcam 02-13-2007, 12:18 PM I posted this in another thread too, but I thought it'd be good to throw in my first impressions here.
My G-Tech brush guard just arrived today. Apparently they now ship assembled. I'll try and post picts tomorrow but let me tell you, this is one serious package. After much unpacking (read: well protected for shipping) I was amazed to see the quality of the workmanship. The finish is tough, even, and the look is very tidy and clean, no sloppy work. After reading what others thought I was prepared for a nice accessory, but honestly, this beat my expectations. I can't wait to install this--sooner rather then later as it is taking up a large chunk of my living room. :D
Thanks again Jason, your estimated ship date was pretty close. Not bad for a month out on a backordered item that was going via container ship.

jforget1 02-13-2007, 12:49 PM Jason, what is the cost for the stainless and do you have any photos of that version?

Jason B 03-20-2007, 10:55 AM Bump, these are in stock! Price will be going up, but I'm keeping them as low as I can for the time being. If you want one, order it soon, :)
Jason B 06-06-2007, 11:26 PM Bump, in stock.
Jason B 03-23-2008, 09:55 AM UPDATE!
This is a new version with even nicer quality!!! The original guard was a replica made in China. We now have the original version, not a copy, which is made in the USA! This guard now comes with a 5 year warranty on the black version, and a lifetime on the polished version! The welds are nicer, the powerdercoat is better, fit is like a glove, and is has a warranty that the old one never had! Others are still selling the China replica, but we are selling the original for a price that's still unbelievable.

JadedSoulX 12-02-2009, 01:23 PM Jason - How about a picture of how it fits up on the 09.
CMoody 12-02-2009, 11:26 PM There are a couple of shots here (http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showpost.php?p=457181&postcount=283).
I plan on taking a few more close-ups of the fit and upper mounting points this weekend - I'll post 'em in the same thread. If you wanted something more overall, just say the word and I'll be sure to include 'em.
Here's a biggie size picture:

Hi Chip,
Awesome shots! Can you post a front view of the guard rather than a side view? Also any advice on how to mount it would be appreciated! Thanks!
Jeremy
CMoody 12-14-2009, 10:24 PM Thanks Jeremy - I think you already found the answer to this in the other thread! :) The only thing I can suggest in addition - if you're going to do this solo - is have something like a floor jack handy. After putting the key "pivot" bolts on the lower bracket, I used mine to hold the grill up so I could line up the other bolts easier, line up (and bend) the upper brackets, and just plain step back to see how the thing looked before tightening the whole thing up.
