Hello All!
Just getting ready to install Blade Stainless Steel w/rubber insert Side Steps on my '07 RTL. The running boards look great! Quick question:
My mounting bracket kit did not come with any cross support bars like I've seen in previous posts. The brackets (I have 4 each side) have no extra holes drilled for a cross support brace. Nor do my (very limited) instructions come with any mention of this. I don't have any extra brackets, nuts, bolts, or washers with my mounting hardware kit; it sure seems like this omission is intentional.
Should I be concerned about this or should I just install the brackets as per the instructions? Maybe Blade decided to stop including the cross support bracket with their kits. The brackets sure seem like they'd be plenty sturdy as is. Thanks in advance for any input.
