How about some advice....
I want to have this added to my NAVI RTL
Anyone using it?
How do you like it?
Did you have Dealer install?

We had the dealer install it and we love it. You do have to actually use it, however. Yesterday I watched the backup screen as BIGGUY backed right into some things piled on a pallet by the door where we were picking up some horse feed. He was looking in his rearview mirror and obviously going too fast as he didn't give himself time to check his side mirror or the backup camera. I didn't have time to yell until after he hit.
THANKFULLY, no damage on either side as he backed into a pile of stall mats.
I will be more proactive on giving him feedback in the future, hopefully BEFORE we hit anything. :p
It's one of the things on the truck that has a real "wow" effect when you're showing it off. It really does work well, even in low light. You'll find some reviews posted already if you do a search.

I know if I did not get it when I brought new I'd put off forever getting it, so I had installed at the time of purchase. I like it, be warned everything looks far away until just before you back into it. I guess I really wanted it in the event my wife ever drives the truck, so bottom line one can get it or just forget it, but I only buy every ten years or so so I usually load any vehicale I buy up.

I bought the backup camera and installed it myself. It is not very difficult to do the install but it does take quite a bit of time. I use it to check the area behind my truck (for kids bikes, toys, etc) before backing up but found that it didn't really help me a whole lot while actually backing up. I decided to add the back up sensors and when used with the camera I think I have the ideal (although a little expensive) backup solution for me.

I am thinking we'll be getting this in a year or so. When S gets older, I'll want it because of the geometry of our garage/driveway. It just seems to be the safe thing to do.

I agree, I think this is the safest and therefore the ideal setup... that's why I spent the hours I did installing it. :D
