Accessory Honda XM Radio

I have an 07 Ridgeline RTX. I am wanting to get the XM radio installed. My current radio is XM ready. I have a price for parts and installation. I would like to know when all is installed, where do they put the antenna. I am getting conflicting statements from different dealerships. One says the antenna goes on inside of the windshield on the passenget side. Another dealership says it goes on the roof. So if anyone who has had Honda's XM radio installed can shed some light on this and set me straight with the correct answer I would appreciate it. Also how did you go about getting the XM radio activated once is was installed.

The antenna goes on the inside of the windshield at the top of the passengers side:

Call XM tell them you just installed an XM unit in your Honda. You will need to give them the unit's unique identifing number...there are directions for this. Good luck. :cool:
