I picked up my new ridgeline last night, but I already have a small problem. My power rear window will not open. I have an appointment later this week to have the dealer look at it. Everything else on it is great. I really do love it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Check that the window lock is not engaged.

Check that the window lock is not engaged.
Does that actually serve a purpose for the rear window? I thought the drivers window buttons worked even with the window lock on, let alone if the lock worked for the rear window....

I don't think it is the lock, if you are referring to the lock on the door, the other windows roll down fine, just not the back one.

Make sure there is nothing blocking the rear sliding window's track. You can also check to see if you have power to the rear window's motor.

Isn't there a TSB for this, something about the rubber on the rear window coming loose and obstructing the path so the rear window won't work?????

Bottom line: It doesn't work. Let the dealer fix it.

No...the windows will not roll down, even from the driver's controls, when the window lock is engaged. This must be a Honda thing, because it's exactly the same way in my wife's Accord.
This is annoying. On other vehicles I have owned, when you engaged the window locks, the windows would not roll down from the passenger switches, but you could roll them down from the driver controlls. I am not sure why Honda does this...probably a "safety" feature...but I don't like it.
