With vehicles receiving high marks in crash tests, firm extends its safety strategy to those on foot.

Honda Motor Co. has earned recognition for building vehicles designed to protect their occupants in accidents.

Its sport utility vehicles, minivans and Ridgeline pickup have all received five-star ratings from the U.S. government in front- and side-impact crash tests. And Honda's CR-V and Pilot were among seven SUVs the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety chose as top safety picks for 2007.

Now Honda is working to extend protection outside vehicles.

Good to see Honda is keeping ahead.
Nice model of a Ridgeline that Mr.Sugimoto is standing next to. It has different headlights, mirrors and door handles. Changes for 08?

I would love to add that to my Diecast Collection.... That would be awesome to have any form or fashion... The concept was truly awesome... I still have hope Honda will offer in the future the concept of the Street Version of the RL shown at SEMA... Ridgeline SC.... or even better Ridgeline Type S:D
