Bosch Icon Wiper Life

I have 2 sets of Bosch Icons on 2 different vehicles. One set is on my RL and the other is on my Nissan Quest. I am already experiencing that the blades are wearing out rather quickly. I would expect for a set of blades to last 3-4 months. I am at 2 months with both sets and both need new refills as both leave little streaks on the windshield even with a treatment of Rain X. The ones on the RL went out first so I thought that the heated wiper zone was melting them but that is not the case as I am having this same problem with the Quest.

Anyone else had this problem?

YES!! I thought that I was the only one but sure enough, my frame-less and expensive Canadian Tire knock-offs of the Icon are streaking after only three months! I paid around $30 bucks a piece for these units!

The only nice thing about them so far is their ability to flex when accessed or cleaned on the "almost impossible" wiper area on the RL.

This weekend, I'll be visiting the store and I'll check with the pimple-faced kid at the auto-parts counter to see if they've rec'd many complaints.

I put the Icons on my wife's RAV4 and she hated them. Turns out they were dirty. Just put some alcohol on a rag and clean the blade with your fingertips. Now they work great.

I have Siliblade Flexblades on the RL and they're ok. They don't conform to the windshield as well as they should.
