Bed Step?

Has any body installed a step to help getting into the RL bed from
the tailgate? I found a few types on various websites and I'm hesitant
to order without some expert ROC input. My knees and shins thank you
in advance.:confused:

If you have a 2" hitch receiver, I've seen steps that mount into the receiver that I would think would work very well.

Disclaimer: I'm tall enough, and still think I'm young enough, so I just hoist myself up and jump out. Have no personal experience with steps.

Do some searching - there are a few threads on the ROC about them, some with photos. I don't need one, but am considering for my boys (ages 11 and 9) who show interest in "helping" me do chores.

The "mini bumper" style that looks like a 2' long bar is popular also as extra "low speed bumper collision protection". I personally would rather the flip down style. My preference will be one that flips down to a small step, but in the up position was an extra tail light...
