Texas Cruiser 05-04-2007, 06:48 PM Howdy!
I picked up my Ridgeline RTL Navi May 2, and barely have 200 miles on it. I really like the handling and suspension so far. Most of my 25K miles per year are on the highway, though.
I live in NW Houston and I'll be watching for meetings with other Ridgeline owners....just don't plan one in El Paso! LOL

krdomingue 05-04-2007, 07:37 PM Welcome aboard. Good Color Choice. I live in Katy, but I work in the Copperfield area. Maybe I will see you sometime.
Humble Pie 05-04-2007, 08:43 PM Hello fellow Texans Texas Cruiser and krdomingue,....pleased to meet both of you. We now have a Texas thread going. I'm in Kingwood by the airport. I am really lovin' my black Ridge I bought in March. I'm sure you both are lovin' yours as well. I researched SUV's and trucks for nearly a year and decided on the Ridge......... OK let's get some conversation going.....how do you guys like the 160 watt sound system? I am amazed at some of the threads I'm reading where people are gutting the speakers and the sub. I think the system was a bonus. It has excellent separation and doesn't breakdown at 30+. I am also enjoying the XM stations. Especially XM 40. Where else can you hear a set of Bloodrock / Wishbone Ash / Grateful Dead / Spooky Tooth / Ten Years After / Savoy Brown / Vanilla Fudge.....I haven't listened to AM or FM since my purchase. Houston is a big city, but hopefully we can cross paths in the future............
If you want to find the truth in life, don't pass music by.............
krdomingue 05-04-2007, 10:22 PM No complaints about the sound system or anything else, but I was never one for fancy sound systems. I do wish it had an I-Pod cable, but with a 6 disc CD player, it isn't a big deal. I have added a few extras to the truck, but so far everything is Honda branded. I am thinking about adding a device that will give me day time running lights.
I found a brochure for the ROC in the new member area. I have made a few copies and have started giving it out whenever I find another Ridgeline. My plan is to either give it to the driver if present or leave it on the windshield. I gave out my first one this morning. I am hoping to increase the Houston members to the point we can have a large get together. Not sure what we would do, but it would be cool to see a couple dozen all at one time.

Wow! Beautiful photos krdomingue!! You guys have more than a few active members in the great state of Texas. Time to have a meet & greets of your own huh?!? They're tons of fun to actually meet all your neighbors with RL's
Egret 05-05-2007, 06:42 AM Hey everyone. I posted my intro a couple months ago as I am in NW Houston also. Good to see some more Ridgeliners out here. We get a few more and maybe we can get a meet in the Copperfield area.:)

Did I read in one of the posts that you work for a Honda dealership? If so, that wouldn't happen to be John Eagle would it?
ced_07RTL 11-13-2007, 09:38 PM On a 15 mile trip from Pearland to Webster, I saw 4 other Ridgelines. Prior to buying mine in October, I saw 2 in 4 weeks. How many do we need for a quorum? :)

afitz30 10-13-2008, 09:22 PM Hello,
Just bought my Ridgeline RTS Friday and from Goodson and LOVE IT, I purchased the XM radio parts (OEM) to have the service with my vehicle from www.handa-accessories.com. Was wondering if anybody new of a shop to have it installed, would like to keep everything factor if I can. No modifications. The dealer wants $668 to install to steep for me.
Thanks

I know this is an old post, but do you still work for Gillman? I just bought a used RT from John Eagle, and it has the crappy steel wheels. Just wondering if you guys ever get a full set of 17" Alloy stock wheels in when people upgrade.
Thanks,
linque
