Lots of great shots (between all your threads). Looks like a fun time to be had in Galveston/Houston area.

Did you do much post processing? The first two look a little underexposed and I see a lot of sensor noise in the sky in the first one (noticed the noise in several out of all the threads) as if you had to use a high ISO or brightened in Photoshop afterwards.

I don't doubt that the photos are not great. Then I take my camera and want to heave it sometimes! It doesn't take "great" distance or close up shots. I am a breath away from upgrading as I am noticing operation troubles more than ever as it auto-sleeps from idle-time and won't recover. I have to un-pop the battery and reconnect for it to say "hey! Oh you are back, ok." Even in Auto mode indoors with plenty of light, crappy photos (to me).... (sigh)

(i have issues   )

I was at home at lunch and took a look at the settings in Corel... GRRR!!!! I was unknowingly using a crazy amount of sharpening on the photos. I took one of my originals and removed the sharpening (let it original sharpness)... MAN, I take some darn good photos! hahaha
