magick21 06-16-2007, 07:50 PM I am new to the forum, but am really impressed by the amount of comraderie amongst all the Ridgelners. I would like to try and organize a meeting for all the minnesotans, we have a plethora of lakes to choose from for a great meeting and a little BBQ. So lets see who is interested for some fun in the sun
Murphland 06-26-2007, 03:53 PM I am also new - first post.
Been reading awhile trying to soak the info and enjoy all of the pictures.
We are located just north of St.Paul and think a mini MN meet would be fun.
Had my 2007 a couple of weeks now and it has done everything we have asked.

magick21 06-26-2007, 06:10 PM Wow I was starting to think I was the only Minnesotan ridgeliner, I have some ideas for a mini meet, maybe some grilling out, canoeing, or one of my fave things todo with my ridge is goto the drive in. If yu have any ideas post them, and lets try and get something going.
cowboy bob 07-11-2007, 12:32 PM That would be a blast!
Also maybe a fall convoy along the Mississippi to see the colors!
Minnesnowta 07-11-2007, 01:45 PM No RL yet but "shopping and test driving".
Maybe I'll join you guys in the fall with an '08. I see 2 other RL's in my neighborhood in the NW metro - Green and Silver. I hope to catch them outside sometime and tell them about the ROC.
cowboy bob 07-11-2007, 02:17 PM That is one thing I like about the Ridge - There is only one other in our small town in Southern Minnesota.
I like being different!!
magick21 07-11-2007, 03:11 PM I think I have counted 5 :o in Minneapolis. I do like the idea of a pic of a Ridgeline convoy next to the ole Miss. OK we are now three, whwnever you guys want to put together a mini meet, lets do it.
lowlife 07-15-2007, 11:10 AM Just got an RT yesterday, don't have a lot of time on my hands and when I do like to go for bike rides. For what its worth I may very well be building and installing 2" lifts for these trucks. I've looked at them and am at a loss for where the "engineering" is. Looks like a 2" spacer which have have made for other vehicles. I have been a professional wrench for over 20 years, with fabricating skills. Also have a car hoist at home. Wouldn't be able to do the alignment however. Install looks to be fairly straight forward, will experiment on my own vehicle. Am also considering making a 1.5" lift too. If I had the time and was fairly local might be fun to get together. My average week is 60-65 hours. Jay
yellowjacket 07-15-2007, 04:37 PM Sign me up. I am just south of the cities in Savage.
FooDawg 09-10-2007, 10:53 AM Picked up an Aberdeen Green RTS last week from Brookdale Honda. Count me in for a meet and greet.
ThunderStruck 10-11-2007, 05:33 AM Count me in too..... Rochester.
northernlights 02-14-2008, 05:13 PM For what its worth I may very well be building and installing 2" lifts for these trucks. Any luck on this?
northernlights 02-14-2008, 05:44 PM Just like to add this to all you Twin City RL owners and wannabes. New Honda Dealership opening in Inver Grove Heights this spring-summer. Building is up and there working on the inside. Might be another place to check out and make your deal at.
I know the original post is kinda old....
but count me in if there are some cook-out or drive type of festivities.

LarryP 02-17-2008, 07:52 AM Greetings,
I purchased an 08 RTL in December and am very happy with it. I'm actually seeing a few up here on the Iron Range (I'm 200 miles north of Mpls), so getting a Minnesota meeting should yield a bunch of Ridge owners.
I've been adding on a few accessories including a Leer topper, air deflector, mud flaps on back and soon running boards and block heater.....
Let's keep the Minnesota group growing!
dsnovak 12-16-2008, 07:10 AM Hello to all MN Ridgeline owners:
I just bought my first new 2008 Honda Ridgeline RTX over the Thanksgiving weekend and found this group soon after. I would love to meet others that live near the Minneapolis area (or there about) to chat about our trucks and other things about owning a Ridgeline.
So if you guys haven't setup a meeting yet, let's do it! ;)
Sincerely,
David

MWJohnson 01-02-2009, 05:08 AM Topper just does not look right, in my opinion....

While I agree with you that the Ridgeline looks much better without the topper, some of us need one. I use my truck for work. It has to earn its keep.
thoekstr 03-17-2009, 09:28 AM A couple of months ago I purchased a used private party '07 formal black RTL that I am very happy with so far. I have found this site to be really valuable, and honestly I am now just trying to get to 5 posts so that I can list some rims for sale in the trading post section.
I am in Minnetonka.
I am in Minnetonka.
Purple Rain (1984)
Apollonia: What initiation?
The Kid: Well, for starters, you have to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
Apollonia: What?
The Kid: You have to purify yourself in Lake Minnetonka
[She strips down, and runs towards the lake]
The Kid: Hey! Wait a minute! That's...
[She jumps in. She gets out shivering]
The Kid: Uh, hold it...
Apollonia: What?
The Kid: That ain't Lake Minnetonka.
