Looking for people who are interested in having a few beverages. Late night at Applebee's and/or sitting around our trucks in the parking ramp.... until we run out of beverages or the police show up. :eek: :D

The night after our last Civic meet (Civic vs Scion), one guy got whammied with a 125 mph in a 70 mph, reckless, stop signs, evading and whatever else. He actually left the police in the dust on some back roads, but then some sense crept back into his brain and he pulled over before he killed someone. He spent the night in jail.

Not sure, I have never gotten past "Dickel and water" and not much water. Located in southern middle Tennessee, I live within 20 miles of Jack Daniel and George Dickel, so I am sure you can see the cause for the addiction. My wife says we can go to St. Louis if she can see the Clydesdales at the Budwiser place. Guess we will sign up and hope for the best.:)

Mr. Moosepond...the local pub also has a wooden woodchuck as the tap handle. Considering they have 20 beers on tap from Europe and the US and woodchuck made the cut...that is pretty good stuff. If you are ever in Greensboro NC. Let me know and I'll buy you a VT Apple Cider.

We'll be coming through NC in mid-August on our way to a family outing in Kiawah Island, SC, so we just might take you up on that! :D Your local publican is obviously a man of discerning taste if he chose Woodchuck as one of his 20 brews.

I'll be the designated driver when the parking deck mounties show up. If we bring our own fire pit this time, maybe they'll actually let us move it.....:)

I'll be arriving Friday during the day from the West coast. Anything happening during the day and where and when? I missed the group rate for the motel so I will be staying at another local motel or under some bridge if they have any in St Louis. I am not a beer drinker but if the price of admission is beer I can bring some local microbrewery stuff. I just drink designer water neat from my designer drinking mug with a twist of key lime. ;) Before I got to be older than dirt my favorite shift was graveyard so maybe I qualify for this crew even though I don't drink beer!

And don't make fun of my need-a-wax-job truck. 1900 miles will cover any wax left with a patina of local road film from several states.

Friday is a day of running around St. Louis and checking out the various sites together. It might be tough to find us but I may have a number you can use to call us. That night, I think we'll meet back up at the hotel and head out for some dinner somewhere.

As for the hotel, call the hotel directly and ask to speak to the manager. Tell them you are part of our group and that you want to know if you can still get in on the group rate. If they have rooms, you'd think they'd offer it to you just to get you there. It's worth a shot to at least ask.

I'm cool with meeting you. Sometime on Friday I will have to pick up my other half at the airport, her flight should be arriving in the afternoon sometime. We will get a time and meeting place set up closer to game time. We'll have the Buckeye train rolling!!:D

We have changed our departure time to Thursday late afternoon. Debbie isn't going out of town this week so we decided to leave on Thursday. We will see you there Friday.

Just got back from vacation last night (4 days on Cape Cod, 1 day in Boston, 4 days in VT) and I've added some additional Vermont surprises to my Friday Night "arsenal". :eek: See ya'll there!

I have a friend that does that. It's not for me. I do have a not so secret hangover fix though. 2 Tylenols, 150 mg of Zantac and a Sausage Egg McMuffin value meal with a medium Coke. The mixture of grease and drugs seem to fix me right up. :)

I never have a hangover since my usual drink is Tennessee sipping wiskey. I suspect this beer diet for 3 nights in a row may bring one on!:rolleyes:
