North of Boston Mini Meet

I know some of you in the Boston area had shown some interest in getting together at a car show I sometimes attend. So I figured I would set up a date and see what happens.

Wednesday July 11, I will be heading over to the show. Anybody intersted in meeting up, let me know and I'll set up a meeting place. Oz and I hit this last year and enjoyed it. Some nice rides. Let me know... :D

I don't think I can pass up going to this. I am down here in Mass. working, and I just happened to bring the Ridge this week. Someone will have to tell me how to get there though. This state messes me up. I am actually right in Danvers too. Next to the Chillis and the Circuit City on Route 1.

Just looked at the map. I can definitely find my way there.
Any idea what time would be a good time to show up? I usually get out of work somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00. I would be really happy to see any modified ridges there specifically a lifted ridge or a ridge with a bull bar or brush guard to inspire me to do the same to my truck.

If it's not raining, I'll be in the parking lot of Dick's Sporting Goods, which is right in the mall property. It's a good visable lot. Drive around the mall and you can't miss it. Anyway, I'll be there at 6pm. Will hang out till about 6:30 and then venture over to the show. Again, weather permitting.

The show raindate is the next night. If it's rained out on Wednesday, we can try again on Thursday. Otherwise, we may have to push it out to the next week.

Not sure there will be any inspiring mods, but, ya never know...:cool:

Well, it is looking like I am going to be here for what seems like an eternity, but should be at least one more week. So, yeah, I should be down. The ridge may not come with me again. I am going to try and get a rental again. This heavy traffic and stop and go crap is going to destroy my truck :( . But, yeah, Next week would be all right. This week would have been cool to bring my truck, but who knows it may end up being a hassle for me to get a rental again next week, and it may come with me again. It also depends on what my work wants to do for expense for me...
Oh, and also, Fridays don't work for me, and the weekends of course don't work.
And there are a TON of ridgelines down here. WOW, ridges are few and far between in Maine, and are just starting to become a little more common to see around town.

I'm still alive! I can't make the mini meet tomorrow. I hate working 2nd shift sometime...I always miss out on the good stuff. A shame really. I was really looking forward to show you guys my scratches I made the other day when I was washing the the Ridge....arghh. Well have fun and don't forget to post pictures.

No worries RTXGuy... It's a no go for tomorrow. We'll try again for next week. Maybe we may have to do a local weekend meet in hopes of getting a bunch of us together. There is a pretty decent number of members in the area. It would be a shame if we couldn't take advantage of it... :D

Tonight would have been perfect because I went all out on the Ridge this weekend. I washed and waxed the exterior. I bought Aerospace 303 and did the interior in addition to treating the leather.

I wouldn't be able to make it tonight anyway.

I thought of trying that but it's hard enough to get a few together once in a while so currently no. The Car Show is every week but the Ridgeline gathering is not... Does that clear it up a bit?

I'm shooting for next Wednesday night to attend and am hoping a few ROC members in the area are interested in meeting up. Now if it's a good enough time and a few of us want to make this a more regular occasion, I'm up for that discussion... :D

Well, I am at the hotel right now, so I guess I am going to be able to make it. Going to dinner with the coworkers, then over to the mall. My ridge is a mess right now by the way. Oh well, that is what happens when you live out of your truck :)
