6 Disc CD Changer upgrade a plug and play for RL?

To the audio experts,

I have the opportunity to buy a factory 6 disc changer from someone and will have the code card etc. It seems this is a remove and replace item but I want to be sure if so. It seems the only benefit will be 5 more CDs and same otherwise or does this one originally have a subwoofer and more power.

Okay, I guess I should do more research first. I see that the RT and RTX come with 6 speaker 100 watt system. The RTS and RTL come with 160 watt system with 7 speaker (subwoofer) and 6 disc changer.

So now I'm still trying to find out if just changing the head unit and adding the subwoofer is all I need to do and will have the system of the RTS and RTL.
