Thanks to member Trickster! He mentioned this in another post!
Please tell me I read correct? This will replace clean sweep, get you pre outs for amps and KEEP the factory volume controls including steering wheel controls(via pac unit--- I think) If this is true... I get my cake & eat it to!! :)

You won't need a PAC unit. Your Nav head will still connect to the steering wheel buttons.
I wouldn't consider this until you have replaced your door speakers first. I think that is the best way to improve the Honda factory sound for the least expense and trouble.

I think he already knows he wants to do more than replace door speakers. I KNEW I wanted to replace EVERYTHING in my RL.

Thanks for the info:) I have JL component speakers, JL500/5 amp and a pioneer 12" shallow sub, just gathering dust on my shelf I know there are much better gear around, but I have them a no cost, so would love to use the system... there all less than a yr old... anyway I tried them in a Pilot w/nav using audio controls LC-6 line convertor and at lower volume would get a lot of hissy noise.. it was installed in a pro shop... anyway they suggested the JL clean sweep, but I was not fond of the idea of not having the volume control in the steering wheel or the radio... but a round knob to reach for... Anyway I love the Factory Nav along with the goodies it has... Much better system than was in my 07 Lexus! That said I want the Nav but also want a much better sound! This new JL unit hopefully out soon, will let me keep the nav, not worry about a rotary volume control and get a great sound to boot!
When this comes out I'll be sure to post pic's! Many great Ideas in the forum that have me designing my sub box (stock location)
I'm just hoping it's claim does not lead to needing the aux volume control... if so I would rather buy a new nav and head unit, than deal with the knob... I know... spoiled, but why not, ya only get one spin around this block called life, so I want to enjoy:D
