5S Dude 08-08-2007, 08:02 PM For those of you searching for a Honda dealer that actually cares about Honda owners in So Cal!
Buena Park Honda went beyond my expectations as we brought our baby to them for the fuel pump relay fix. It was done in about an hour. I had mentioned to the service advisor that the “D3” button may have a short in it but that I was over the 36,000 mile three year warranty period and he told me he’d personally make the call to clear the work with Honda. I got a call and was told my truck was ready. When I got there they had washed our Ridge and replaced the whole shift lever. It is a good feeling to find a dealer of this caliber. I had spent some time talking with the customers sitting in their waiting area and found that the vast majority of them were not from around the Orange County area and the main reason was bad service from the dealers where they bought from. I will absolutely bring my business to them from now on……….
Niq Man 08-08-2007, 08:28 PM Thanks for the referral. I got crappy service from Honda World in Westminster and have stayed away from all Honda dealerships since. I'll have to give the BP location a try.

We had bought our Ridgeline from Honda World Westminster and will never return there for service!! Ever! Buena Park Service was totally different. Tell um you belong to the Ridgeline Owners Club.com
bbnmcas 08-08-2007, 10:51 PM I've had EXCELLENT service at Honda World. It was so good that we bought our CRV from them. I ONLY leave my RL with Johnny Min...he is excellent. If he is not there then I'll come back another time. He is straight forward and honest. I've never tried BP but maybe i'll start. Who do you recommend at BP?
Brent 08-08-2007, 11:42 PM I have had excellent service with Honda of Pasadena. Sounds like the OC dealer is cut from the same cloth.
e_piph_a_ny 08-09-2007, 08:34 AM Any recommendations for North OC?? Anaheim/Orange vicinity??
5S Dude 08-09-2007, 07:56 PM bbnmcas,
My service advisor’s name was Eliezer Corona. Genuinely courteous and very professional service.
e piph a ny,
They had folks in their waiting area from LA and Riverside County having service done. Actually, I’ve been reluctant to take our Ridgeline to any dealer service center until I found Buena Park Honda.
e_piph_a_ny 08-09-2007, 10:50 PM Okay, sounds like a winner. ;) thanks for the referral.
El Padre 08-10-2007, 10:19 AM You could run up the 57 to Diamond Bar Honda, just off the 60. I haven't been there in a few years due to distance, but they were outstanding - sales and service.

Actually, I went Diamond Bar Honda when buying my RL. Not very impressed with their sales folks, both on the showroom and website.
When I checked the ROC back in Jan 2006 for feedback about them, comments were lukewarm.
No follow up from the web and the salesman quoted close to Honda's suggested retail price. Both salesmen never followed up, even with my phone number. Must have been a hobby for them.
Based on that experience, I never thought about using them for warranty work.
El Padre 08-10-2007, 11:34 PM Ouch! Can't blame you for not wanting to go back after that.
Maybe I got lucky but I bought an Ody there, essentially over the phone. All the contacts were very professional and I got exactly the vehicle I was seeking while paying a reasonable price. I brought it back for service a few times and each time it was done promptly and correctly. That said, I learned my salesperson left shortly thereafter and I eventually started going to a dealer closer to home (where I bought the RL).
Zombie_61 08-12-2007, 01:21 AM We bought our RTL from Buena Park Honda two weeks ago. They had to order the brush guard, fog lights, running boards, and day/night mirror we wanted, so I brought it in a week later (this past Monday) to have them install these accessories plus rear splash guards (they had those in-stock). When the sales associate showed the technician the list, the technician said, "That's it? No problem. If he has it here by 9:00 (a.m.) I can have it knocked out by the end of the day." I dropped it off at 8:40, and it was ready by noon. :D
Between the ease with which our purchase was made and that kind of service, if all of our dealings with Buena Park Honda go as well they'll never hear any complaints from me.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I was out of town, so the timing was bad for me. It would have been nice to see my Ridgeline in some of those photos.
rakapur 05-02-2008, 01:58 PM i wish there was one here in northern va, i really just want to take m ridgeline back and get my money back just because of the customer service, 8 days now, no phone call to check on the car, no call about if the option parts have arrived, they seem to be ignoring our phone calls, my dad knows the people that own the company (Rosenthal Fairfax Honda) and hes about to call them
