steveberger 08-16-2007, 07:10 AM I bought my RL March `05 when they first hit the lots. I still love driving it and still get a kick out of spotting other RLs even though this has become alot easier over the last 2 1/2 years.
But it took all this time before I spotted my first RL with a ROC sticker.
Leaving beautiful (NOT) downtown Peekskill yesterday I was behind a white with a cargo basket on the roof that looked really cool. I went North on 9 they headed South.
Who was it?
Pizza Man 08-16-2007, 07:16 AM Hmmm, could it have been Moosepond?
25 Year Honda Owner 08-16-2007, 07:27 AM Hmmm, could it have been Moosepond?
The odds are it was Moosepond.:)
MoosePond 08-16-2007, 07:31 AM Hiya Steve,
Yes, that was definitely me and thanks for flashing your lights in greeting. Too bad we were headed in opposite directions. We coulda stopped for a coffee or something.
Rob (aka MoosePond)
steveberger 08-16-2007, 08:18 AM Sent you a PM. This is not the first time our RLs have crossed paths!
Oznative 08-16-2007, 10:10 AM Just don't park next to MoosePond's truck in a thunderstorm.:D
shovelhd 08-16-2007, 10:21 AM That's not funny :)
MoosePond 08-16-2007, 01:03 PM That's not funny :)

brich 08-16-2007, 02:03 PM That's not funny :)
Ya but your response is shovelhd .... :D
davedad 08-16-2007, 06:38 PM Hey, I'm glad you've seen another Ridge with a ROC decal on it, I've had mine since February, I started to notice more RL's on the road around here in the past few weeks but I don't see any with ROC decals on them. My wife says I should pull up to each RL I see and recruit them into ROC. Keep flashing those headlights too!
07 Steel Blue w/ vent shades.
I finally had a spotting on the road. In the village of Brewster there was a Redrock RL with a ROC sticker getting gas at Williams Service station. Had to be somewhere so I did not have a chance to stop. Anybody have an idea who this is?
I just got my (2) chrome 2"x 6" ROC Logo DECALS in the mail today.
I will get them on the Ridgeline as soon as I can.
Raplon 09-02-2007, 10:17 PM Been looking for 10 months now. Still haven't spotted one. But, there is hope.
I spotted I think the same Redrock with a sticker going south on Rt 6 in Brewster again today. Anybody know who this is?
I spotted I think the same Redrock with a sticker going south on Rt 6 in Brewster again today. Anybody know who this is?If you said 10 miles to the east, I'd say that is me. I drove my truck today.
I wasn't in Danbury today so it wasn't you. Hey welcome to the neighborhood by the way. This one had the roof rack and OEM fogs on it.
Order 66 10-28-2007, 06:32 AM MoeD, you ever in Dutchess County?
Order 66 I am sometimes in Dutchess County.
bobtwhite 01-08-2008, 03:08 AM I saw my first ROC sticker on Sunday (not counting the meet I attended) at the Wal-Mart in Tewksbury, MA. It was a silver RL with a tonneau cover. Anyone know who it was?
mmurphy50 01-08-2008, 05:08 AM I wonder if that's the same one I've seen a few times in Dracut? I don't know who it is though.
Oznative 01-08-2008, 07:21 AM Maybe Brich got a cover for Christmas:)
davedad 01-08-2008, 07:39 AM hey, there where 3 rl'sin the parking lot at work over new years(I work for a hotel), a cherry, nimbus grey and a white one, none had ROC stickers but I spoke to the owner of the white RL, they were from Pittsburgh area up here for the ice bowl, this is the 2nd RL the gentleman owns, I informed him of the ROC, hopefully he will join the group.
gweppy 01-08-2008, 08:55 AM I saw my first ROC sticker on Sunday (not counting the meet I attended) at the Wal-Mart in Tewksbury, MA. It was a silver RL with a tonneau cover. Anyone know who it was?
that would be my sister who works there:)
jimmychoi 01-08-2008, 10:00 AM Hey, I'm glad you've seen another Ridge with a ROC decal on it, I've had mine since February, I started to notice more RL's on the road around here in the past few weeks but I don't see any with ROC decals on them. My wife says I should pull up to each RL I see and recruit them into ROC. Keep flashing those headlights too!

I just ordered my ROC emblem....so I should have it on in the next few weeks..:)
truckU 01-08-2008, 03:59 PM I wave to RL drivers but usually don't get a reponse :( I ordered the small ROC decal and license plate frame for the front. I wish I had it today 60 degrees :D
bobtwhite 01-08-2008, 04:45 PM that would be my sister who works there:)
She has a sweet ride. And I don't say that just because I have a silver one too. It was nice to a fellow ROCer out there.
I think the RL is becoming more popular up here in the northeast. There are now 4 that park around the building I work in and several more in the same business park. I've spoken to a couple of the other drivers and they all rave about the winter handling of the RL. You just can't beat it.
gweppy 01-08-2008, 04:49 PM yes the rl is a sweet ride, she got her rl first and i had to copy her and get one only in blue i copied most of her mods that she has:)
jimmychoi 01-11-2008, 06:46 AM How long did it take to get your ROC sticker after you ordered it??:)
mmurphy50 03-13-2008, 09:49 AM I saw a green RL this morning on route 3 south in Tyngsboro. Just wondering who it was.:D
BigDaddyStone 04-19-2008, 04:22 PM I don't know why I stuck it here, maybe because I just ordered a G2 BAKFLIP Cover and haven't told the wife yet. I hope it holds up ok. What do you think?
bobtwhite 04-19-2008, 10:47 PM That is a good place for the sticker, I never would have thought to put it there. It leaves enough of the brake light showing so it won't be a safety hazard (or get you a ticket), yet it is probably the most visible place you could put it.
I see no reason why it wouldn't hold up in that spot.
BushBoarder 04-23-2008, 04:55 PM Only sticker sighting I can report is my own which I just put on. Stuck it center bottom of window. Hopefully the slider doesn't pull it off :(
Driving to the Red Sox game last night on the J'way to Boston was next to a DCP RTL. Was hoping to get stuck next to him at a light so I could ask if he was a member. Never happened. We were in the wife's Acura TL, my baby stays home when there will be drinking involved ;)
jimmychoi 04-28-2008, 06:48 PM Other than the ROC meeting I've attended,(and the folks I've met there) I've yet to see another ROC badge...
mailman 05-03-2008, 07:09 PM Hey steve I'm in Dutchess Cty. also .No sticker yet.Got a 07 dark cherry pearl, chrome bumper covers, chrome mirrors etc. Always around Rt.82 & Rt.55 Lagrange area. Will keep an eye out for you ..... Jim:)
chuck401 05-09-2008, 12:38 PM I spoted a ROC sticker at NUWC Newport yesterday. '06 Redrock Pearl, roof rack, sticker in the right rear window. Who's might this be?
Humble Pie 05-09-2008, 01:10 PM How about here......
I spoted a ROC sticker at NUWC Newport yesterday. '06 Redrock Pearl, roof rack, sticker in the right rear window. Who's might this be?did it have chrome bumpers, chrome molding and a chrome decal? I wonder if this was my ex-truck with roof added.......

It not the Ridgeline decal that is sold here at the ROC but I did the same with another decal off ebay. :D

davedad 05-18-2008, 08:27 AM I noticed alot more RL's on the road up here in WNY, took a short drive yesterday about 10 mile and noticed at least 5 RLs none with ROC decals though, I remeber when I bought mine I seen about 2 per month now I see at least 2 per day.
Tcape 05-20-2008, 10:02 AM I live in a fairly small town close to the coast in NC, and I don't see many RLs in this area. But on two recent trips to the NC mountains, I did see many more RLs. Not surprising, since more folks in that area need 4WD. Still haven't spotted a RL with an ROC sticker. Folks obviously don't know what they're missing.
ROLLTIDE 05-20-2008, 02:49 PM I live here in the middle Ga area and I see two or three RL everyday but none with ROC sticker.I can't say much,I don't have one yet.I just order mine yesterday.
jimmychoi 06-26-2008, 07:10 PM Well...I was driving my girlfriend's Camry home tonight, and I saw a Red Ridge on 87 with a ROC sticker. Anyone local driving on 87 at 8:40 or so?

Ahh...makes sense. The ridge is in the shop....rusty lugnuts, rattle in the glove box, and tailgate handle/latch issues. Hopefully I'll have it back soon.

FlaGuy509 08-06-2008, 06:26 AM Got my RL in late Dec, my ROC decal on in early Jan. I work in Jupiter and go home to Melbourne on the weekends traveling around both areas and up and down I-95. I have yet to see one other ROC sticker
bobtwhite 08-24-2008, 01:54 PM I just moved to Arlington, VA and saw a silver RL today at the Mount Vernon bike trail with a ROC Sticker. It had a custom built fork mount bike rack in the bed and a roof rack. I think I've seen a picture of the truck on this website but can't find it now. Anyone know who this is?
I've seen lots of RLs in the Arlington area but this is the first ROC sticker sighting I've had.
BruceRTL 01-02-2009, 02:41 PM I spotted an honked at a green Ridge heading north on 27th Ave just north of the 101 in NW Phoenix. It had one of the old maroon colored plates and started with the letter "V". Nice looking truck neighbor! :)
SilverRidge08 01-20-2009, 03:05 PM I spotted a Dark Cherry Pearl Ridgeline on I-84W in Waterbury,CT. this morning. Had the ROC sticker and an Apple logo sticker on the rear windows. Was going to pull up and say hi, but didn't get a chance too.

Was it a personalized plate?
I spotted one on Monday in Vineland/Millville... at BJs. I was walking back to the truck and looked over my shoulder and coming at me was a Nimbus Gray with a small pinstrip turning into pinstrip flames . the truck also had a emergency light of some sort(I think) on top... Just a shout out.. hello!:)

FlaGuy509 01-22-2009, 04:27 AM One year since I added my ROC sticker and have yet to see another.
BruceRTL 01-22-2009, 06:35 AM Was it a personalized plate?
I seem to remember that it was a personalized plate but I don't remember what it was anymore.
StoneRidge07 01-22-2009, 06:44 AM One year since I added my ROC sticker and have yet to see another.
It has been two years without me seeing sticker siting (excluding meets). I GAVE my two buds stickers for their Ridges. Where were they??? Not on their trucks, but on their tool boxes! UHGGGGGGGGGGGG! Last time I give them a GREAT Sticker. They should be part of this group. Anytime there over I still bug them. ( I guess they are not into as much as I am) Oh Well..
redisant 01-27-2009, 04:01 AM I spotted a Dark Cherry Pearl Ridgeline on I-84W in Waterbury,CT. this morning. Had the ROC sticker and an Apple logo sticker on the rear windows. Was going to pull up and say hi, but didn't get a chance too.
That was me as I mentioned in my other thread. On my daily commute so you'll likely see me often if you travel that route frequently.
davedad 01-27-2009, 05:50 PM Havn't spotted any stickers yet but there is a DCP with CT. plates in the parking lot at work, Wondering if anyone on this site is visiting Buffalo?
Sparkland 01-27-2009, 08:17 PM I live in Denver, Colorado and have never seen another ROC sticker proudly displaryed. I am certain there must be a few--but not where I have been driving. I pass them out when I see a RL in a parking lot--hard to put one under the wiper at highway speeds:D
Have a great week.
GMANPR 01-28-2009, 12:52 PM I want to get my sticker. I have a steel blue metallic Ridge. Should I get the white or the chrome?
I need suggestions please!

I bought both and decided to go with the white on my Blue. But then I think chrome is for Harleys.
GMANPR 01-28-2009, 02:00 PM You just answered my question. I will get both and then see which one looks better.
Thanks!
You just answered my question. I will get both and then see which one looks better. you won't be able to see unless you stick them both. They have a paper on both sides (used for rubbing to help when sticking it). Can't see the decal itself unless stuck.

What I did was apply the white and if I had not liked it I still would have had the chrome to replace it.

I had bought both also but I really like the Chrome. Just a matter of opinion. I gave the white one to one of my buddies with a Ridge.

Qxtreem 03-16-2009, 02:14 PM Schaumburg Il. sighting!
I saw my 3rd(of all time) ROC decal today. It was on a sweet silver RL heading South on Braintree passing Amhurst in Schaumburg(8:30 am). Who is the cool ROC'er? :) I waved but it was sunny.
I actually saw my buddy Samhian a few times on the highway. And once I saw Mtnman cruising down Lake St in Roselle. For such a large area where I live , its still a small world.

Meh, I'm dumb. Once again I posted in the wrong spot. Keith spends half his time fixing my posts. Sorry.
I was looking at the Official Sightings thread and I posted here. Please don't hit me. Give me one of them ' you are a noob ' signs. Also, feel free to move my post to the right thread, I still want to know who I saw :). Or should I just post it again? grr is there a training course for the ROC? :)

bobtwhite 03-18-2009, 03:27 AM RxHill,
Better late than never. From what I remember, you have a nice looking ride. I've since moved to the DC/Northern VA area.
Bob
RxHil 03-18-2009, 09:41 AM Thank you. It was definately an awesome ride. But, I recently traded it for an '09 Pilot. Kind of a bittersweet thing...I love the new ride, but definately miss the RL.
Bevski333 08-18-2009, 08:53 PM For the first time in 2 years I finally spotted a RL with a ROC sticker. I saw it just after making a left hand turn on to 1st street in Mt. Vernon, New York at aproxi. 7:35 am, It was a steel blue?
