Long Island Meet T-Shirt Thread

In my signature line you will see a link to the rough draft of the Meet T-Shirt. This is the final design, eventually there will be a clearer image to post.

The supplier states:
We believe in offering you only the best quality product available each and every time you buy a t-shirt. One of the name brands we think is at the top of the list is Gildan. Gildan t-shirts are 100% preshrunk heavyweight cotton, 6.1 oz., seamless collar, taped neck and shoulders, double-needle throughout.

Available sizes are Sm, Med, Lg and 1XLG thru 5XLG.

If interested in purchasing a T-Shirt or two, please post your desired quantity and sizes required. I'll post a running Roster showing quantities/sizes ordered.

Remember, as the quantity increases the pricing should come down. Once I get an idea of what quantity we'll need, I'll be able to get the final pricing. I'm expecting somewhere in the $12-$13 a shirt range.

Hang loose for a little bit Mike. I'll have more detailed info shortly. In addition, there will be some changes to the T-Shirt that Tbird is working on and I think we're all going to like them. The preliminary drawings are truly awesome.

If Ariel was excited at all the RL's at Swartswood, wait until he sees the trucks on Long Island. There is a good possibility there will be between 30 and 40 trucks there.

I can't find any better pricing than UberPrints. There are currently 30 T-shirts on order. Price for 30 is $10.75 ea. As the quantity increases the price decreases. Please note this is not the final price. Although shipping is free to me, I'll need to add a modest amount to cover my shipping to you.

Does anyone know how much PayPal skims off the amount of a transaction?

I'll be talking with UberPrints, the T-Shirt supplier, later today and establish a cutoff date for ordering based on their lead times. I need to be sure the shirts will be available in time for the Meet. Once we get a final count, I'll be able to determine the final cost. If anyone is interested in a T-Shirt, please get on the Roster. The sooner I get the final count, the sooner I can place the order and get the cash flow started.

Yes. Andrew, Grace and the DMR Staff did a terrific job on the shirt design. I think they are true collector's items and will make for a great Meet souvenir.

Because I'll need to ship some of the T-Shirts to those who want theirs prior to the Meet, I'll need to order the shirts a few days earlier than originally anticipated. I won't order a shirt without a check and please remember the final price of the shirt is determined by the number of T-Shirts ordered. LAST CALL FOR T-SHIRTS

In order to receive the T-Shirt order in time to ship them to those of you who wish to have them before the Meet, I will need to place the order no later than Wednesday night, 9/26.

If you want a T-Shirt and can't get the check to me in time, please PM me and we'll work something out. I will not order any T-Shirts that I do not have a check to cover or PM promising payment.

Thruth of the matter is that Tbird and his wife, Grace, are resposible for the creativity of what I think is a great looking shirt. I want to be sure they get the recognition they deserve. They also created the Meet Banner and Decal. You're going to love their design.

Thruth of the matter is that Tbird and his wife, Grace, are resposible for the creativity of what I think is a great looking shirt. I want to be sure they get the recognition they deserve. They also created the Meet Banner and Decal. You're going to love their design.

I will be presenting the Meet Banner, after we all sign it, to the Dealership along with some T-Shirts as a thank you for hosting us.
Thank you Tbird and Grace and everyone responsible. It just, when I was reading your post, Joe, where you said you would make sure the order was in satisfactory condition and all right before cashing checks, I imagined going through each and every t-shirt making sure nothing is screwed-up, I realized it must be very time consuming. Some responsibility too.

Well, I did go through each one and saw no obvious flaws. I was wondering how they would shrink and/or expand the print to accomodate the different sized shirts. The sizes ranged from a youth small to an adult 3X. The printing appears to be proportional.

All in all, the T-Shirt manufacturer did a fine job.
