I have a kenwood mono amp that I want to wire up to my stock HU and passive bazooka tube. My question is can I take the stock sub wiring and hook it to my speaker level input on the amp? If so how do I do this the wire form sub is a 2 wire set up.The amp has 4 wire set up (left + Left -/ Right + Right -).Little confused,I thought I read a post that said I can do this by wiring them together,+/-.

Altays -
That should work. The HU has a separate channel for the sub, no? Then yeah, just wire them together.

ENGYO,let me get this straight before I blow something up. Yes the HU has a separate sub wire. So what you are saying I can put the 2 + wires (L and R)from the amp together to the + wire on the Sub wire and same for the NEG,Am I getting this right? :D

No, don't do that. Just connect the two sub signal wires to one set of high level inputs. Left or Right, your choice. The HU has combined the Sub-L and Sub-R signals for you.

Ive Done A Few Systems. And When I Come Down To That I Just Pick Up A Set Of Rca Adapters. You Can Pick Them Up At Best Buy, Or Any Car Audio Place. It Takes The Preexsiting Wiring And It Has The L And R, White And Red Connections For The Amp Rcas. That Way Always Works And It Is Safe. Ive Done It Like That On 4-5 Cars

Please fix your word processor. Every word capped is incredibly irritating to read.
And your advice is wrong if the amp has speaker level inputs. Just hook the speaker wire directly to the speaker level inputs of the amp.
By RCA adapter - you probably mean line level converter.
