Hello all.
Just discovered this site and quickly signed in--my first post.
Brought home an '07 RTX this week--am very pleased--very nice--except it doesn't have XM.
Traded my Element and it had a plug/play Sirius.
Would like to continue with Sirius but the RTX radio doesn't seem to have a plug in---at least I couldn't find it.
I'll change to XM if necessary but am not sure where to plug it in either.
Am asking for direction and suggestions on how to get subscription radio into my RTX.
What do I need?
Many thanks.
Jay.

Hi Jabo,
There are many threads in this forum discussing this. Search around.
If you want to keep the stock stereo, Honda has an XM tuner. You can get your dealer to install it or if you are good with your hands and tools, you can install it yourself. The tuner is expensive and some folks don't like having the XM antenna stuck to the inside of the windshield.
You can go with a portable XM or Sirius and either use an FM transmitter (compromise quality) or wire it to a ISpec IPOD adaptor that you or a pro installs.
Or you can replace the stock stereo with an aftermarket unit with a satellite tuner of your choice.
Just spend a few minutes searching this forum and you will find plenty of discussions around satellite options!
Good luck!

Been there.Go to Best buy, make them match prices on the SkiFi 2 and let them install it.You get a lifetime protection and they will change it out if you buy another vehicle.Get the cheapest boom box and use it at home in the house. You can also take the boombox in your other car and only pay 1 sub.Hope this helps. You can get Ski Fi 2 for about $50 if you look. Many say they last and sound the best.

I installed an after market XM unit (the Delhi Roady XT) and detailed in a message earlier this year. See: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12044&highlight=installation
Hope that helps.
Many thanks for the help and suggestions.
Went to Best Buy and will have them install an Audiovox Xpress.
This was readily available---no stock on the RoadyXT.
I think this will be satisfactory for my needs.
Would have preferred to do the installation myself but I have 15 stubby thumbs on each hand---also no time or know-how. lol lol lol
I fault Honda for my dilemma. Oh well---little will complaining do.
