I'm calling on my fellow ROC members to help out a friend who is filming a documentary on his quest in finding the Porsche 928 that was used in the filming of the movie, "Risky Business" starring Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay. We all remember this racy film about sex, business & automobiles and how a Porsche sank to the bottom of Lake Michigan in suburban Chicago. Who can forget that scene?

My friend's name is Lewis Johnsen and he lives in Colorado. His documentary is almost complete and he's working very hard to get the movie shown in the Sundance film festival this January 2008 but he needs our help.

First, visit Lewis's site at www.rb928.com (http://www.rb928.com) and read all about his endeavors and achievements with respect to the "Quest for Risky Business 928". Afterwards, send an e-mail to the Sundance Film Festival Institute institute@sundance.org letting them know that you want to see "Quest for RB928" in the competition for 2008.

Who knows.....if the film actually wins, it will most probably be aired on Sundance's own cable channel and no doubt on the "Discovery" channel.

Your help is most appreciated.:D

The car didn't sink in Lake Michigan, that was the Lincoln Park Lagoon.

The car didn't sink in Lake Michigan, that was the Lincoln Park Lagoon.

It takes somebody from the area to prove a good point!;)

I guess the DVD has got it all wrong when it states how the car sank to the bottom of Lake Michigan. Perhaps the meaning has more punch with a lake rather than saying it sank to the bottom of a lagoon. Hollywood, go figure!

Thanks for pointing that out Mtnman.:D
