Ok, so I know that the capabilities of the Ridgeline have been debated and extolled in other parts of this forum. That said, I can't help but feel the need to play a bit and see what it really can do. So my question is this: Does anyone know of trails or areas that I can LEGALLY go four-wheeling in the Maryland / Northern VA area?

Come on down to the outer banks of NC. Miles and miles of beach you can legally ride on. I read in the numerous threads about the RL doing good in the sand (don't forget to air down and pull the vsa fuse). I will be there on oct 12-14 to try it out myself:)

I just spent last weekend camping at Green Ridge State Forrest, its in western MD. Some of the roads would be considered impassable by cars. I found a creek crossing about two feet deep you can do if you don want to go over a bridgeand there is a ORV trail that i believe is 18 miles long. I plan to bring my Honda atv with me next time and if its not to bad (didnt look all that tuff form what i did see) i plan on taking my Ridge through there.

Oh yeah you need a sticker for the park to use the orv trail.
