Jason B 09-11-2007, 09:28 AM I now have these on the website and I can do them in RED led or ORANGE leds. This is the kit you've all been waiting for and the wait paid off!

OFD107 09-11-2007, 03:05 PM Jason,
How hard are they to mount? Any extra wires to contend with? Any feedback from other ROC'rs who have purchased them?
Mark
Jason B 09-11-2007, 06:31 PM The full install is one the website links above :) Update, they will ship in about 1 week after ordered now.
auroraprospector 09-11-2007, 07:41 PM looks pricey...wonders can you get the after market Pilot turn signal arrows or acura ones modded to fit the ridge's mirrors.
Raplon 09-11-2007, 07:50 PM And when I thought I was almost done with all my modifications, they had to come out with these mirrors! Oh, well... Any chance of getting a nice Group Buy, Jason?
Guzman 09-11-2007, 08:14 PM Jason,
Are these universal deals or the actual ridge mirrors? If its the same mirror that comes on the ridge i'm for it but i think its a universal style.
bongus 09-11-2007, 08:50 PM YEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!
Order 66 09-12-2007, 04:40 AM Jason, very nice, I'll have to look into this one.

These are NOT universal. They are Ridgeline specific. I have the full install PDF on the site links above. This is completely OEM looking and anyone that see's them will think they truck came this way from the factory.

They only sell the mirrors themselves that have to be installed into the original covers. So, they have to be RL specific.
Raplon 09-12-2007, 02:31 PM So, Jason, how about group buy? Or, at list, a ROC member discount, say about 15%?
Jason B 09-12-2007, 03:29 PM I wish I could, but I'm putting these out not that much over what they cost me. This isn't a high volume made item, but I can tell you quality is amazing and it's like OEM quality. I try to put everything on the website at the best prices I can.
xridgelinex 09-12-2007, 05:07 PM I wish I could afford them...
bongus 09-12-2007, 05:07 PM Submitted my order today. Can't wait to install them. Thanks Jason for making this valuable accessory available to the ROC.
auroraprospector 09-12-2007, 06:06 PM Price it under $200 shipped and I'll order.

Good luck...if you check the Muth site they are well over the $200 mark especially if you have heated mirrors. Remember these mirrors are not your cheapie Pep Boy's special. These are as close to OEM as you will get and the price reflects that.

They are pricey but there is no one else that sells anything close to this. I mean most LED add-ons are glued onto the mirror or the housing of the mirror. One of the moderators, ChrisM, I feel had the best variation of this design but he had to put holes in the mirror housing. I was always impressed with the signal LEDs found in the early Ford Expeditions and I'm glad they finally made one for the RL.

The drilling that I did was for the FRONT indicators, not the indicators that were mounted on the reflective part of the mirrors. You can see my mirror turn signals from the front and from behind the vehicle. With these, you can only see the turn signals from behind the truck. If I had done my turn signals like these, I would not have had to drill.
I reviewed the PDF with the installation instructions. I think that they made the install way too hard. My instructions will do the same thing for you and are about a 10th as hard and you don't have to disassmble wiring harnesses or drill any holes.

I too thought the installation was a bit too involved, especially on the driver's side.

True, but it looks much nicer like this. No dangling wires, when you open the door. This was the main reason I decided not to go your way. I understand, it doesn't bother some people, but it bothers me.

To be truthful it bothered me a bit at first but I stopped seeing it after the newness of the mod was over. If I had to do it all over again I might fish the door harness but it's done now and I'm happy.
I only have about $50 in the whole project. Who knows, one day I might rip it out and do it the right way.
SpartanML 09-18-2007, 09:18 PM One of these days I am going to buy those mirrors!
Jason B 03-07-2008, 08:24 PM Mirrors in stock. If you order the orange led, it may take 1 weeks to make as these are made to order, before they ship. The Red are in stock.
kanji 03-07-2008, 08:52 PM Do you have one that has the LED on the housing? similar to German cars & trucks? or is this just a mirror replacement type?
Jason B 03-07-2008, 09:30 PM No, this is built INTO the actual mirror/glass. So when it's off, it's invisible.
plumber423 03-14-2008, 07:42 AM any install pics on the rl
Billoti 03-14-2008, 10:29 AM I need power folding mirrors like the Chevy products. My builder decided to make my garage door too narrow to pull in a normal vehicle. Any chance for this?
rjburns 03-19-2008, 05:47 AM :D YOU need a new builder , or a chain saw..
Jason B 03-23-2008, 11:59 AM Update, for those that have ridgeline's that DID NOT comes with heated mirrors, I have a new device that will allow you to turn them into heated mirrors. You need to purchase the heated signal mirrors and the special modification runs about $69 additional to the price of the mirrors.

Do you have any part # info on this? How would I order this mod?
Thanks
