Side Steps on White RTL ...

I have a white RTL -- ready to add the Honda side steps ... looking for pics from anyone out there. I've seen chrome, but can't find any decent pics anywhere of the black or silver installed to help me decide. Anyone?

Say Tony, very nice rig! I also have a white '06 RTL that I bought in July and I'm in the process of - making it mine - if you know what I mean. From your pictures I saw a motorcycle in Navi screen but I didn't see a backup camera anywhere on your truck. I saw what looks like backup sensors in the rear bumper though. Have you a backup camera? if so where did you mount it and what type of system is it? I'm not thrilled with the OEM camera placement nor am crazy about the wireless V-something unit I've read about. But am going to get something to help with backing up and would rather have a camera. Your comments would be appreciated!

I have the Honda Black Running Boards on my White Ridgeline. I think that the look sharp like in the photos in the earlier post.

Thanks for the nice words, the backup camera is one of the options that I don't have. I wanted it however, when I was shopping for the truck the only place that they would mount the camera was off to the right on the tailgate. If they would have mounted it in the center of the tailgate above the handle I would have ordered it. So I don't have any backup camera. I also thought that I would do it myself but honda did not install the harness so all I would have to do is plug it in. Oh well....

Hey Tony, beauty!! I have a white '07 that I plan on installing my new Honda black 'running boards' today if I can figure a way around the need for the 'special tool' for the last 2 bolts at the rear. Someone on the board posted a workaround awhile ago so I'm still looking for that...

In the meantime I was wondering which vendor did you buy the white 'bug deflector' on your hood from? Did you have it painted or did it come white?

Are you satisfied with it? Any paint flaking or cracking issues?

yes the deflector came in white. I will look up where I got it from and let you know. The plastic is white and I see no cracking. I am now looking for the deflector for the sun roof that is white. This has been hard to find.
