HI all !
OK, I am new here and an incredibly happy owner of a new '07 RTS in Nimbus Grey. I have added the OEM plain flat running boards (I think they look pretty good!) and rear splash guards (which should come as stock). Here is my question or request.... PLEASE post some pics of your aftermarket Fog lights. I have seen some pics in the past, but a search did not lead me back to them. I drive a lot and good fog lamps add a ton of visiblity and safety. I would rather not drill those two big holes in the bumper for OEM. Show me my options, I know you guys are creative!
Thanks!!

Congrats on the new vehicle.
I've owned my 07 RTS for whopping 2 weeks and enjoy it so far. 400 miles and counting (I know not much, but I ride my 2 wheeled honda most of the time).
Couldn't agree more on the rear mud flaps.

Here's how I attached mine. The fog lights were only $25. The brush guard was about $275 IIRC.

Someone needs to make fog lights that fit the slits on the outer edges of the bumper. That would be a cool look!

Working on making an LED running light strip for that area.

That what I'm looking for.... I want to find something to fit into that opening by the lic. plate. Who makes those? Let me know what you come up with on those LED strips. Audi does that on their S6 and I think it looks seriously bad ass!!! Keep the pics coming guys, you are awesome!

SpartanML - please keep us informed how this is going! I too have been thinking those slits would be perfect for an LED strip, but don't have the time (OK, or the knowledge!) to make it work.

Will do! Take note it is only in the early design phase... not sure when I'll get something finished due to time restraints and what not.
Could you all who have done this please post up the brand and model? Thanks

Mine are a set of 23.99 lights from Walmart. I clamped mine to the front bumped support as advised my another member here.

I put these on today, got a kit from Shucks (auto parts store in Seattle area). $31.00 including all mounting hardware, wire and lighted switch-such a deal.
Couldn't get into drill them to the inner bumper, so used the double side tape provided and then added a couple of heavy duty wire ties.
They turn on/off with the ignition and I fitted them mainly as daylight running lights. They are independant of the headlights, sidelights etc. Not sure if this is legal or not. They are 18" off the ground, again not sure if that's OK? Box stated they were for off road use-not sure what that's about eithers-fog lamps are fog lamps-right? If I get any tickets I'll let the forum know!
If you have to, they can be turned off (we have to turn lights off going on to WA state ferry's).

They should be perfectly legal since they're a certain distance from the headlights... also I believe it is legal in all 50 states to have four headlights on... in my case, I have six, which is no good but I really don't care. :)

Hey SpartanML,
I'm curious about the LED strips also. Are these for the slits under the headlights? I would like to help if I could. I know many of the LED manufacturers. Flexible might work nice there.
Perhaps also, they can be used as turn signals as well with bi-colors?
Let me know, sounds like a good idea for the Ridge.

That is very nice nevadagarth! I have the factory fogs, but will keep this in mind if and when I get offroad lights/push-bar.
What is that you placed in the false vents under the headlights? I have silver also, and think it looks sharp as hell.
Like SpartanML, was thinking maybe LEDs could be there, as additional running/turning lights.

It is basically common vehicle "chrome" trim that can be found at auto parts store. It is flexible with an adhesive backing. Do a search for "Honda Ridgeline" on e-Bay and you will see an item listed. That is where I got mine before I knew what it was.

Thought about buying these and putting them into the slots under head lights. Anyone use these? Suggestions?

If you want only the best, try these. PIAA

I am thinking about installing them, but so far I think the stock headlights are doing a good job.
Had fog light on my last truck, I miss having the area around the front of the truck well lit.;)
