What is the best portable compressor for inflating tires on our Ridgeline? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I keep an old Craftsman (Sears) compressor in my Pilot and a Vector Compressor/flashlight unit (Pep Boys) in the Ridgeline. These can recharge via AC or 12v cigarette lighter, are adeqate to top off a tire, and can recharge a cell phone using the aux. 12 v. port. They need to cool down after 15 minutes of continuous run time.

If you intend to run on a sandy beach with your tires at low pressure, for example, you certaily need a significantly larger compressor. Perhaps other ROC members know of a 12 v. 'workhorse' solution.

I pick this one up at Sam's club for around $20. I can use it plugged in or using its battery. It also a built in tire air gauge, a 12V outlet and also doubles as a high volume pump/deflator for air mattresses, beach balls etc... I have had it for well over a year and have had zero problems.

I've used this one for over a year and it works great, always reliable. I liked it so much, I bought it for my father, brother, father-in-law, and brother-in-law. I don't drive anywhere without it.

Nice! This thing looks really handy! Thanks Bob!
Nice price, too... if shipping isn't outrageous.
Does it come with any warranty?

Three years ago, I invested in the Power on Board Jump Start System
It is 450amps. I purchased it at Sam's Club for $44.00 and they still sell them for
the same price.
You can recharge the system with the 12volt hookup in the Ridge or take it inside and recharge the system on 120volt socket in the wall.

Great system and has lasted a long time. I have had to recharge twice in 3 years.:)
