Just to add to our collective knowledge. I'm at 1400 miles and the oil life is 80%. This is in mixed driving with two kayaks sometimes on the roof. I'm also getting 19-20 mpg under these conditions.

I am at 2100 miles and the Oil Life Meter is at 70%, my MPG is about 16 MPG with the AC running. I don't tow anything or carry anything heavy.
