: Window problems...

This afternoon I went to pull out my Ridgeline from "my" garage to move it to "her" garage to mount our bicycle rack for a trip tomorrow. When I went to move the vehicle back to "my" garage I always back it in. To help see (side windows are tinted to match the rear windows) I roll down both front windows. The drivers' side went down OK but the passenger side didn't move. Thought it might be a fuse? Then I tried rolling down both back windows...nothing! Also tried the rear sliding window...again, nothing! Thought all the other windows might be on a separate fuse other then the drivers' window. Got out the ole trusty manual and to my surprise, every window has it's own 20 amp "mini" fuse. The possibly of four fuses blown at once seems rather high so I pulled each and tested them...all good. As that I also have the KP Technologies window roll-up module, I thought it might of gave up the ghost. Tried rolling all the windows down and then back up with the key FOB, everything worked as expected. Now we understand that the window motors aren't bad which also tells me that the fuses aren't bad. Can't believe that the window switches went out either. Tried each individual window switch but they didn't work either. Wonder if there is a "master" control module for these four windows only and a seperate module for the drivers' window only? Any comments and/or help will be greatly appericated in advance!!!

Try the pushbutton switch in the same area as the window switches...when it is pressed, the driver nor passengers can open/close passenger windows.

I just checked something...
My driver's window works with the "window lock" button activated, also!

I thought that all the windows were disabled by the lock button...
... maybe our KPT mod has an additional "feature" that allows us to use our driver's window, while locking-out the rest? COOL BEANS!

Maybe it works this way without the mod?

It'd be nice if all the windows were operable (even when locked-out), by the driver's buttons.

Hmmmm... wonder if Kevin can answer this?

My "Dearest" Smroycor...Thanks for your help, knew that "special" buttom was there but, to be honest, had forgotten about it. With no children playing in my vehicle (my only is 23 now) I usually never change too much. Somehow I must of activated it accidently? Again, thanks for your help. Was hopeing I could count on someone in ROC.;)

Yes, this is the way the windows are designed to work! My Pathfinder had the same exact button that locked out all windows except the drivers. Since I don't have my manual here, I'm going to guess that it is a child safety function, at least that is what I use if for, otherwise my kids would play with the windows all the time and I might accidentally close the window on them if were messing around.

It also locks out the rear window, at least on my 2006.
