The paint chipped off from my black steps from Hunter just after a few months. Do you have the same problem?

I've had mine for almost a year and no chipping so far, at least on the steps themselves.................I will have to go under and take a good look at the brackets, tho.

Hi Dakool1. We are in the market for a side step tubes / running board solution as well and wanted to know if you could post a photo of the mounting brackets and how much ground clearance is lost.
Thanks

I'll try to snap a shot in the morning. they mount in the plugged/predrilled holes ( just use a tap to clean the threads as they have a dab of under coat matrial on the threads) and they're a bear to get started, and can cross thread easy ..

I just installed the Hunter polished stainless steel side steps. It took about an hour to install. It looks great on my formal black Ridgeline. It's a high quality product that is simalar to the OEM sidesteps. They retail for 199.99 on e-bay and there is no S&H. It just started to snow.
