I wanted to share and gather some information with fellow ROC members.
Part 1..
I wanted to install remote start on RL, but did not want to use any additional remotes, only factory fob.
No problem, however once the truck is started with remote start and running the key fob is completely disabled.
Therefore keyless entry or other functions like window roll down are non-operational.
Has anyone found a solution to this issue ?
I will be meeting with a Honda Service foreman tomorrow to try to resolve this problem.
Part 2..
Also, I am installing sunroof and rear sliding window modules to make them one touch close and open with and without key fob.
Looks like in order to make this happen with certainty and most effectiveness we have to go straight to the motors.
You can not do it @ switches themselves, we tried.
I will have an update tomorrow.If anyone has something to share please step in.
The main issue is how to enable the key fob while the truck is running.
