What are you having done? I can recommend Colonial Honda in Glendale. Although I haven't had anything major done on mine except for a paint flaw, they always go the extra mile to check up with me on how my RL is doing and how I am liking it. And their service bay is open on the weekends until 9pm. Been doing business with them for 2 years now and the people never change.

I wouldn't recommend the Honda dealership over at North Hollywood/Lankershim. It's like their sales people all want to get their money's worth...just based on experience ;)

The hitch is easy to do yourself

just an FYI dealers charge an hourly labor rate and use the ASCE or Honda comparable book to compute the number of hours whether it takes this long or not.

I would do the hitch myself and following the DIY for the fogs on the site

Big +1 here, I will be applying the hitch assembly myself when I get it...

gymr,
What are those "Buick-looking" tear droppy things you have on your fenders? I haven't seen them before. Custom work? or have I just been in the dark? Hard to tell from the angle below, but I think I like them! Nice touch.

I don't have enough experience with other dealers to judge who's best, but I've been happy with Honda of Pasadena (where I bought the truck).

I particularly like their overnight service program, in which they give a 10% discount on parts and labor if you leave the truck overnight for their night crew to work on. You can drop the truck off anytime in the evening before 8:00 p.m., and you can pick it up anytime after 7:00 a.m. the next morning. It's very convenient if you can get rides back and forth, and you get 10% off!

My experience with a Honda dealer near the Airport and the Marina :D has been pretty good, although limited. Their sales people circle like vultures and their internet pricing is a joke.

You all seem to be too far north for me, but we've bought a three cars from Honda of Mission Valley in San Diego and they have been fantastic! I highly recommend them.
