2007 RIDGELINE XM RADIO + iPOD W/TEXT

Does anyone have one of these ? if yes, how do you like it ?

Don't have it, but looking at his feedback seems to be legit. I have the music link in mine but it would be nice to see the text.

I'm going to have to see more on this one.

I wonder if you can just buy the Axxess interface WITHOUT XM and have it still display text. Or is it the XM integration that allows the text to show up?

That's not correct. XM does show song & artist info, and channel name.

There is no info on any AM/FM stations...So I don't know if that axxess module will be capable of displaying it through your factory HU.

Navigation shows all text ( station name, Artist, Sond name, XM channel.

With a NAV system and XM, you get all the XM data.

What do you get on the radio display if you have the standard radio or 6 disc system and XM? Do you still get the channel title / song / etc?

I don't have navi...So the answer to your qiestion is YES.

I have the standard HU with 6 disc and XM..While listening to XM you can see the song title, the Artist/band, channel name etc. You do have to push the display button to scroll to what you want to know...song title etc.

But this does not work on regular radio...AM/FM

Not sure about THIS Unit, but I did find another Axxess product that allows IPOD connection if you sacrifice XM.....
