Probably! :)

I'll waive next time - I've seen a blue one before - don't think I have seen the silver yet.

Good to see there are others out there in my neighborhood!

I drove from Beaverton, OR to Burlington, WA last week and didn't see one RL. I did see 3 Hummer H3s.

I spent all week driving between Everett and Burlington for work and was suprised not to see one RL the whole time.

The week after next I will be back up in Tacoma for a week, if you want to get together I might be able to make a dinner or late drink.

Outside of that I would love to see a NW gathering sometime soon.

That sounds good. I have a few other Ridgeliners I have been trying to get into the forums, maybe we can all get together. One just had flames put on his silver RTL, sounds different, but he works for a paint company and the flames are nice. Keep in touch as the time gets closer.

Yep, south of you in Pierce County. Got a Redrock Red and love it. Have a few interior nosie problems. Am trying to locate them and resolve it. I'm always checking out the Honda lots and only see a few around. I was sold on the storage space and the trunk. We have pretty much been GM owners, so this is our first Honda. All in all, we are very happy with it when you consider all the flaw we've seen with the several GM products we owned. :)

Enumclaw, WA. I drove to Bellevue daily for a year or so, but now work via my laptop and cable connection from home. Purchased my 06 last February from Hinshaws in Auburn, but they had to get the color I wanted from the Bellevue Honda dealer.

I have been enjoying the snow and figuring out how the VSA and VTAM 4 lock work when driving up Mowich lake road to X-C ski. The snow was so deep and slippery last weekend that I actually got stuck and had to get pulled out by a heavily customized Ford! I found out that using the VTAM 4 lock with VSA off transfers most power to the rear wheels which is not good in deep slippery snow on a tilted inclined corner! The rear spins and then slides sideways downhill - not good!. Anyway it was a lot of fun and the RL is the most awesome vehicle I have ever owned and I love it!

I am looking to purchase a topper for holding all our family camping gear, has anyone had any experience with any of the topper dealers (like Canopy World in Federal Way)? Any experience with ARE versus LEER brands?

I really want to Thank Everyone at ROC for their probing questions and incredible feedback for everything from what kind of wax to use on the exterior to fixes for just about every kind of problem that can occure on a RL. You all are great.

Personally, I love the snow. Learned to drive in it when we lived in New Mexico (and yes, that's part of the good ol' U.S.A.).

What I thought was real cool, was the RL did not break loose in the snow, until I made it. I actually had to force it to spin the tires at all. And when it did, it only spun for a second and then the VTA kicked in and off to the races we went !!!

By the way, I saw a Cherry Red RL in the parking lot at the Kingsgate Safeway. Was wondering if that was anyone from here? It was decked out and looked real good. A little too many accessories for me, but still nice.

Take care for now,
Toby

Still don't have great pictures, but see my website (link below) for the most recent images. I've used this site to research accessories and what not - and have appreciated the homemade accessory discussions like the in-trunk dividers.

I live in Tacoma. Bought the Ridge at South Tacoma Honda, who was much better to us than Honda of Fife. Did lots of research and love our RL. Have about 20,100 miles as of today.

I hope you are enjoying your Ridge. I personally do not know of any shops in Bellevue that would do that work, but there is a shop in Kirkland that might. And I stress "might". It's Eastside Tire and Service. There's a shop in Kirkland and I just remembered that they have one in Bellevue, as well. It's located by 520 off of the first exit when you exit off 405. Black Diamond checking in.

I just bought this on Friday at Klein Honda in Everett. Every Honda dealer in the Puget Sound region got to learn my name on Friday when I bombarded them with an email requesting a quote on an '08 Ridgeline with a towing package. Since they all come with a decent amount of amenities, an RT was fine with me. I ended up with an RTX because it was cheaper than getting an RT with a hitch added on!

Today, the wife and I took her on her maiden voyage to Leavenworth (over Snoqualmie, Blewett and Stevens passes), through Seattle and back home via Federal Way / Auburn.

Hi Guys and Happy New Year.
Since Dec 31st of 08 I am the proud owner of a 2006 RTL Amazon Green with a Leer canopy, a front lower trim, running board and a set of Foose Lusso wheels that I hate :(!! I am still getting used to the truck as it drives totally different from my honda accord - yeah no kidding!
Looking fwd to more discussions.
Best Wishes, Tony, from Kirkland, WA

Just wanted to add that the more I drive this truck the more I love it. My view/taste has totally changed. I now decided not to do anything with the exterior look - even the wheels I found them now very origianl and make my Ridgeline stands out of the crowd. I sure love the Off-Road look of some of the ridgeline out there though :)

Hello,

I am new to this site....and a new owner of a RL 08 RTX.

I am not from WA state, but close to it...up north in Canada, Vancouver, bc.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out. I made a thread and was hoping to get some help.

Tonneau covers are scarce on RL's around here. Mine has a Leer topper with a DynoLock. I travel the state a lot and I just don't see many. I'll keep my eyes open the next few days and see if I find somplace selling them.

In the meantime here is where I got my Leer. www.canopy-world.com I got mine at their Federal Way store and the treated me well and did a good install as well.

Regards,
malcolm

You may not know that Federal Way is just a few miles south of Seattle along Puget Sound where Canopy World is located. Even though they don't sell a tonneau for the RL, I think they would know who sells and installs tonneau covers in the area.

Most everybody seems to be from the other side of the country. Just wanted to see if there are any other Washingtonians in here? Possible get together???

Hello there and yes I live here in Puyallup, WA. I am very interested in meeting others for get togethers and or shootin the breeze. I work at the Seattle Airport. I do maint there. I am in the parking garage alot. I see alot of Ridgeline Owners. Now that I have one, well you notice them more. I owned a jeep for awhile. I couldn't figure why other jeep owners kept waving to me. Hummm. Now call me stupid, but do we Ridgeline owners do that also. Hey, it never hurts to ask, never ask and you will never know, RIGHT. It's nice to have a truck that is special. I love it, went to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Had it a month and have 5,000 + miles on it already. I would be nice to talk to others in a group over a beer or whatever your drink of choice is. And not while driveing, thank you. :D Have a great day.

Hey there, just wanted to say hello. I just joined the ROC a few days ago. I think it's a great place to talk, well strike that last statement. i tried to talk on the chat and I was snubbed. So, how are you and how do you like your truck. I have an 2008 black ridgeline RTL. I like it alot, went to Vegas and the grand canyon here this month. I put 5000 on it in two weeks. I think it handles great needs just a bit more power. but other than the gas pedal problem I have its great. I am getting ready to put HID's on it here next week. They are not Bi Neon, but they have a dual feature for high beam and low which will be the hid part. I will let you know how it works out. I hope you don't mind me talking here. Names Dave sorry about that. Well if you would like to BS more about the trucks or anything else give me a shout. have a great day. Dave:D

Hello to Washington State Ridgeline owners. I just finished installing a back-up camera. I purchased from the Honda website and it installed easily. It took a full day since you have to remove tailgate cover, inside bed panel and most of the back seat. Even though it took awhile it was not difficult and it works beautifully. I did one modification and mounted it in the center of the tailgate instead of off to the right side. I did a little A and B comparison and could see no advantage to the offset install. Also have installed a back flip hard top and a non skid bed liner mat. Love them both.
Any get together plans for Ridgeline owners in the north sound area?

I am also a new forum memeber and also a new ridgeline owner. So far I LOVE this truck. It is an 07 dark grey RTL/NAVI. I am currently looking for some nice 17" wheels if anyone knows of any and HID headlight kit or headlights. I am located in Puyallup and commute from there to Seattle everyday for work. Please let me know if you know of any good deals on rims and tires or headlights.

Just got my first ridgeline on january 20, 2010 on my 43rd birthday.
Been looking for a year but waiting for the right one with things i wanted w/ it.
I have an 06' black ridgeline rtl w/nav and 2 tone interior brown and black..it had 50788 miles on it.was looking for a 08 otr 09 but didnt want to spend the price..this 06 looks like a 08 or 09 in cond.
So anyway someone told me to use liquid ebony for waxing it that it was made for black..but i cannot seem to find it any where.
And what do you use to clean the leather for when it does get dirty...
My truck came with 24" dub wheels but my insurance will not ins. Them i need 19 or 20" any ideas where to look for nice fancy wheels as my dubs..i am going to use the 24" for summer but i need winter wheels but pimped out looking.....i'll try and post pictures.
I really am happy with my purchase.....
i live in portland,oregon

Just FYI,

A skid plate designed for the RL is available in Vancouver WA by www.raceskids.com - not yet listed on their site but call if interested. I'm from PA so have to wait to have mine shipped but thought there may be one of you interested in something like this close to home.
