Can anyone help me locate the post on how to wire the VR3 to the 4 pin trailer hitch plug in? I've tried searching everything I can think of and can't find it. I'm pretty sure someone posted how to do this. Maybe I'm just having a 'brain freeze' in our lovely Canadian winter but I could use some help.

Thanks

Mike

I took a 4 pin male piece and attached to the top 2 wires (The cameras Black to the top to the "White" and the cameras Red to the "Black"). I can turn on the camera with the running lights or headlights. (See pic, purchased it at Walmart)

I recently bought this adapter to connect both my line of fire and camera to the 4 pin...

Thanks to some advice from Xridgelinex I have my VR-3 up and running nicely. I wired it to a 4 pin connector and just plugged it into the trailer hitch 4 pin socket. I can turn it on or off in any gear with the power button as long as the park or headlights are on.

The camera lens is slightly 'fish eye' obviously to give a wider view. Perception is a bit off as objects are as they say 'closer than they appear'. About 6-8 inches. All in all, the camera and monitor work great. I've only experienced very minimal wireless interference. For less than $100 it was a good buy and worth the money.

Glad to read it worked out.... I just leave the monitor power on all the time... This is where I mounted the monitor using some velcro....

Good idea. I've been using the supplied back clip and mounting it on the right side drivers vent. It's to cold here to mount adhesive velcro. Once it warms up (in about 3 months) I'll mount it the same as yours. I'll have to change it for summer since I'll need that vent clear for air conditioning.
What a country....-30 to +30 in 5 months!
