Great color :) Very cool looking. Don't think I could give up a full size rear seat.

I couldn't live without 4 doors and a trunk.... But it does look cool...

It looks like a cross between a Isuzu Vehicross, a Subaru Baja and a Ridgeline.

Now you're mine

a little competition can only be a good thing for the consumer

I like the color and the idea, but I can't see Toyota bringing it to production... Whatever happened to the Dodge Rampage concept? Many concepts are stated that they could possibly compete against the Ridge, but so far no "true" takers.

Go Hokies!

I was impressed by the pics on there. It's a good looking truck. It has a sporty look to it

Since it is smaller, I don't see it as a 'rival' for the Ridgeline, as long as the Tacoma stays in the market. The small truck and being a hybrid will attract a young crowd as a first 'truck' vehicle for some, although it has been compared more to an 'El Camino' by others.

I've seen this vehicle featured last week on TV, not sure which news program (possibly CNN or Headline News).

Curious to see what mileage it gets and what price it sells for. I think Toyota is going in the right direction with Hybrid over Diesel.

IMHO that is one ugly vehicle. It looks like they designed the front end with a huge sledgehammer. It's looks like everything in the front end should be about 6" longer than it is and the headlights took the brunt of the beating.

A lot of big 3 buyers will see this truck as an abomination. That's too bad because with the new gas mileage standards, this may well be the truck of the future.

I saw the Ramapge @ the Indy Auto Show yesterday. Kind of strange. Biggest thing I noticed was that the side view was very feminie and swoopy-the front view was very aggressive. It was a weird mix of styles.

A few years ago, Toyota also previewed a concept based upon the then Celica sized format. It was a SUV with looks not unlike the A-Bat now. Except it had a covered back instead of a pick up style back end. This is probably just another concept that will never see Toyora dealerships.

We've seen cross over in the SUV market blending the SUV with the minivan and station wagon to invent a whole new market segment. Maybe this is the next phase of the pickup market doing the same. Toyota is seeing the market as Honda has for those who need the occasional pickup but also need a people hauler, dependability, and practicality, not to mention something that fits in the garage.

It's definitely a concept in which only design cues will transfer

What is the fascination with the pseudo-chopped oughta-be-a-Chrysler rooflines? It's an interesting design except that it looks like it has no headroom...

Looks coll but I do not see anyone that;s 6 feet 5 inches crammed into that thing and no one over 10 in the back seat. :p
