Gulf Coast Tri-State Rally

:) I want to see if we can put a Tri-State Rally (LA AL MS) together. I am testing the waters to see if we have anyone interested. First what month should we have this in and also Where should we have it. As far as Where, maybe the place where food is served. The place would need a nice parking area.

The month, well do we want it when the weather is cold or spring like? I am not crazy about cold, because then we would not want to stay outside as much. Just a thought. I started this thread so we can get an idea when and where. Post what you think about this so we can get started planning. Everyone is welcome to attend, this is not for only LA, MS and AL it is open to all. I know without narrowing it down to a date it is hard to determine weather you can attend or not, however it is important to see if we have people interested...:)

Naturally, my vote would be for some place on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A nice combination of food & parking would be Mary Mahoney's Old French House on Highway 90 across from the Beau Rivage & Hard Rock.

Now that both the Biloxi Bay & Bay St Louis bridges are back up & 6 casinos open on the Biloxi strip alone, we could revive the idea of a POKER RUN for that matter!

I've been thinking of something to put together for us, but it's all just in the thinking stages. I've been scoping out a place called red rock creek in Alabama. It's an off-road truck and atv park that has camping , swimming etc... I believe the cost is around $30.00 per day, but I sent an email asking for more specific information such as light-duty off road trails for trucks and group discounts. Hopefully they will get back to me soon.
I was thinking this would be better than the normal tourist spot dealio, and those that didn't want to take thier RL on the trails could easily sit back and swim on the sand bars and have a good time, hell we could even have a bbq contest!
Don't get me wrong, I'm down for the casino's anytime especially the BeauRivage!

I frequent LA quite often. I would like to participate if it is close to our schedule. We normally go to Orange Beach and love the Phoneix Condos with their off season rates.:)

This could be interesting. Set the date, what, where, and we will see who will come.

Biloxi sounds good to me. Beau Rivage and Ridgelines seem like a good combination. I'm in as long as not scheduled to work in the hospital on the chosen date.

What say we try to put a Tri-State meeting together. I will be there where ever it is. It doesn't look like I can get anyone to show up for these meeting when I try to to get it together. So this is what I suggest, I would like someone else put this together. We need another Keith(k757) in our group, Keith always seem to get us together, so I suggest some one else step up to the plate and get r done. I am open to anything. I do believe that gas prices has a lot to do with it. Gas is high and people don't have extra money. I hope someone can do this, I think this can happen we just have to support this meeting.


Well for those who are interested next Saturday May 24th there is a car/truck show at Clearview Mall starting at 6pm until 10pm.. and June 1st is "Save our Lake" get together. The car/truck show is early however it is an all day event..

First of all we have to figure out where we want to have this gathering. I guess this place needs to be close to a place we can eat and a place for us to park. I would like to know where everyone would like to meet. I can't seem to pick a place for us so I leave it up to the group. I will attend this meeting and I hope that we can light a fire under some butts so we have a great turnout. Lets really try this time..
