I have attached a few pictures taken December 26th at the Butterfly Garden located in Gainesville, Florida.
These photos were taken using a Sony A-700 DSLR with the base 18-70MM F1.3 - 5.6 Lens. I left the camera in Automatic Mode set on Fine .JPEG and did not use a flash... The unedited files are around 400 to 500KB in size...

Man Wayne, those are great pictures. The last time I was in Gainesville, I was watching Drag races.

Very nice Wayne.
I have been wanting to build a butterfly garden in my backyard for my daughters (2 1/2 and 5 1/2). Maybe this summer is the year.
The last time that my family and I went to Gainesville to visit family we tried to go to that butterfly garden. Unfortunately, the day we tried to go it was listed as being closed.
After seeing your pictures, we will have to try again the next time we are there.

Have you ever seen the poster print of the alphabet, with each letter is a shot of a butterflies' wing. It's use to be for sale from pbs. Really something.
