LEER Topper with Tonneau Cover

Can you put a LEER topper on and keep the tonneau cover? I would like to roll the soft tonneau up and leave it snapped in case I ever take the LEER off and want the bed covered. Radco told me I have to remove the tonneau cover to install the LEER. If this is correct, I will have a soft cover for sale.

I'm also going to have the Thule rack added right to the LEER. I'm planning on getting the longer bars so I can carry to canoes for our trips to the Boundary Waters. Anybody else have this set up? Any thing I need to think about?

I recently purchased an 08 RTL and am considering the Leer topper. The quoted price that I got was $1649 and I am wondering if that is in the ballpark or if there are better deals.
My opinion on keeping the roll up cover is about the same as what Leer told you. I think that the roll cover could be in the way of fastening the Leer topper down, so they would want or have to remove it to accomodate the topper. Keep asking, as there could be another way of doing things.

Hey LarryP.

That is about the same price I was quoted for the topper. Mine was a little higher with the Thule rack. There is a 70 coupon available from the LEER website.

I was hoping one could get "bigger/wider" clamps that would be able to accommodate the rails for the roll up cover.

Where in MN are you? I'm in Brainerd Lakes area.

Hi, If you do end up deciding to sell the soft cover PM me. (I'm in the twin cities area). I went with the SportRaxx to carry my canoe / kayaks in the summer but I'd like something to keep the snow out of the bed in the winter months.
