I grew up dreaming about owning one of these. Too bad it never worked right. It sure would have been a time saver. :(

well, so far we're 2 out of 4 is possible today.

Moving sidewalk is possible and staple for Las Vegas, doesn't Ceasar's Palace has people mover sidewalks and also, the airports.

As for the robot maids, how about Osimo honda robot, or those little robots that cleans & vacumm the carpet..We're almost there :D

Well, for the last one...unless you have enough PTO saved up or work from home, i guess 3 day work week is possible.

Sold for $131,700 to someone who seems to care more about her hair than what she's driving :D

However, if she is related to, or works for, Ron Pratte, then she's serious. Pratte is one of the regular high rollers at the Barrett-Jackson auctions.

I saw that the only thing she has bought in the last year was a bottle of shampoo. That would worry me. You had to be preapproved to bid so I guess she was given the green light to bid.

I have sold a couple of cars on Ebay. I always get nervous during the auction when the high bidder has a history of buying a bunch of low priced items and I'm selling something that I would consider to be a high priced items.

When I sold my Austin Healey on Ebay, the high bidder for 2 days had only purchased stuff like G.I Joe action figures and DVD's previously. He was outbid in the end by someone who claimed that he had his password stolen. I had to relist the auction. I did get more for the car the second time around though. :)
