The 2008 International Meet will be held in Columbus/Marysville, Ohio the weekend of June 20, 21, 22.
We're going to Honda and we are planning some exciting stuff at their facilities on the Friday and Saturday.
By the way, this is a combo meet. We'll have ROC, EOC and maybe even some from CRVOC there as well. This is going to be HUGE!!!
Stay tuned for more details, but reserve your vacation time now! You won't want to miss this.
Special thanks to the crew at Honda for helping to put this one together.

Barring any unforseen events (Like unemployment), I am planning on being there :) Hopefully, the hotels are not nearly as expensive as St. Louis :p Also, who wants to bet that gas will be $4.30 a gallon for 91 / 93 octane?

Still working on the hotel and final details but we have the weekend nailed down for sure. So, stay tuned for details as they become available.
Will be good to see you again, Larry.
Okay the mileage for me is just 413mi from DC.
This is just a quick 6hrs compared to last yrs St Louis meet trip I made.
The St. Louis trip was about 900 miles & 13 hours but it was much longer.
It turned into about a 16 hour trip I was beat when I got there.

I'll be in Ohio on business the week before (9th through 12th). I could have had a company-paid Ridge Run. If only you could back it up by one weekend...
Unfortunately, I can't make it. I've already booked the "Griswold Family Vacation" for the week of July 4. A fun week of self-torture doing a road trip with my wife and 4 year old.:o

I probably won't able to make it. For one, the date is wheat harvest time here and I'm a farmer, so..., and second; according to MapQuest it's 13 hrs from here. If it were in July I'd try for it and make a side trip to SW Chicago to visit friends for a few days on the way there or back.

Last year's meet was during our family's beach vacation week in August. :( Looks like I missed a good time. My wife cannot make it in June but I don't think I can afford to miss another meet. My kids will be going to spend the week with their Grandparents in Virginia right around that time so I am planning on making the trip this year on my own. Looks like about 6.5 hours from their house in Virginia.

I joined the ROC just after last year's meet and wished I would have joined a littler earlier...this year it is a 1 hour trip north, so I will be able to sleep in my own bed and still come up and enjoy the company of other RL owners. I look forward to meeting everyone.

That's just the trouble, no matter where this is set up some are just going to be out of range. There was talk of Las Vegas (not officially, just throwing out ideas) but how many midwest and east folks would drive that far? It seems like some of the regional meets have gone quite well, and I hold out hope that us middle of the country owners (OK, KS, NE, Dakota's) could try for something someday.

Need a barn for Gary Flint to give another PPT in? Let's see. my mileage to this meet. Zero. Nada. :) Cool. Count me in. I don't have the boys that weekend, but I bet my ex-wife will let me trade so they can enjoy the meet. Girlfriend will be in New Orleans :(
Can't wait to see everyone again!

This is hilarious as my wife reads over my shoulder.....Although I usually don't name my vehicles and my pets are well rounded on road trips.....Molly happens to be my new baby girl who is due to be born on Feb. 15th. Lynn (wife) and Molly are doing really well so far....except for the sleepless nights. So...ya....depending on how Molly is doing come June (4 months old by then), we might make the road trip.

Have marked my calendar (only 590 miles from here - a cakewalk compared to my nonstop journey to St. Louis) and should be able to attend - only glitch might be that my daughter is getting married the following weekend but that shouldn't interfere as they're well along in their planning and shouldn't be needing any help from dear old dad!

Marysville is in Union County
it is northwest of Columbus (Columbus is in Franklin County).
Dublin, where the hotel is, straddles Franklin and Union counties.
