After bidding and losing a few Honda OEM auto dimming compass mirrors on eBay, I figured there were some viable alternatives. I could get several used mirrors but I'm fussy, they just weren't that cheap and none were camlock mount. I saw a Subaru auto dimming compass mirror new in the box at a reasonable price ($70) and figured that it was a 50-50 shot that it was a camlock mount that the Ridgeline uses. I say 50-50 since Subaru uses both styles based upon model and year of their vehicles. The model of the mirror is H501SAG200. I figured if it wasn't camlock then I would remove and replace the Ridgeline windshield mounting button with a wedge style button. When I received the mirror last week, I found it to be a wedge mount- but get this, it came with a camlock adapter base! It mounted perfectly to the Ridgeline. I had to cut off the wiring harness plugs on both the Ridgeline and mirror since they didn't match. But it was a simple process of crimping three butt connectors. The wiring on the Ridgeline terminates in a four wire plug that is taped to the wiring harness at the left side of the roof console opening. The Ridgeline plug has three wires (one empty cavity): yellow (12V+), green (12V+ only in reverse) and black (Ground). The mirror plug has three wires as well molded into a flat black cable. Only one is marked with a white tracer- this is 12V+. The middle wire in the cable is ground and the other wire is 12V+ only in reverse. The mirror is made by Donnelly and has no Subaru markings on it- so only you will know. It worked perfectly! If you can't find one on eBay, you can purchase it online from one of several Subaru dealers for about 2/3 of the cost of a Honda mirrror.

I can take a photo of the installed mirror and camlock adapter if that's what you want. But since the mirror is already installed, both wiring plugs have been removed and the only thing you would see are a three butt splice connectors. Let me know.
