Hello to all Ridgeline fans, I just came from Cleveland OH (800 miles round trip) where I had a great deal on Leer cab. I noticed my MPG improvement by almost 3 MPG! Thanks to this forum I purchased Scan Gauge OBD 2 display to monitor MPG and it works great. I used to get around 19MPG now I drove 550 miles since yesterday and clearly MPG vent up. Obviously turbulence of open bed is major MPG killer. Just want to share my findings.

I will get some pictures tomorrow no problem. My co-worker had comment today: "You made it look like Hummer". Still don't know it it is reason to kill him or to be proud. Only one thing is bit too much and it is too dark to see behind. Original glass is tinted and Leer has dark glass too. I had my slider open to get better view. Rest is decent, but I needed 10 minutes to adjust to this new look.

May need to analyze other factors...

One factor is elevation....if you travel to a higher elevation then it will cost you more gas....going home is the oposite.;)

I get 1-2 more MPG with the tailgate down.....sounds like I need a topper to keep it over 20mpg!

my last trip from NY to maryland in January with my 08 + Leer cap going 70 MPH saw an average of 21.2 MPG with crappy winter gas. So your 21.7 sounds about right.
you might want to get your hair dryer out and heat up that leer logo and peel it off the back window. will increase your view a bit

We just had one installed last Saturday (necessity) and if you open the rear sliding window while driving this helps your view also.. :D
