Ok, I am going back and forth with my dealer about the pigtail for the trailer brakes and I have one more request. Could someone take a picture of exactly where the pigtail is to plug in under the dash. I just want to make sure that I know what I am talking about when I talk to the dealer (and that I am not really confused)

If you use the "search" function and look for "brake controller" there are several other posts with some good info....

When I had the Honda hitch and wiring harness installed I was provided a Honda universal pigtail with the under dash connector on one end and bare wires on the other to wire in the brake controller harness. If you use a Prodigy controller you can purchase a pre-made harness and avoid the soldering... Here is link to what I use:

look up the hitch install. This is for an '06, but it should help to explain. The pigtail harness comes with the hitch assembly on the RTX. Have your dealer show you another RTX on the lot- look in the box in the trunk and have dealer give you that pigtail.
