Interesting that you mention recycling. My mother was a 'greenie' long before it became popular. My family started recycling in the early 70's, and, believe me, the back of my nother's car looked alot like the photo you posted. Back then, we tried to get Boy Scout groups and any other organization to help with the once-a-month recycling in our Township. I said township so there are many from Pennsylvania that know what I may be talking about.

Don't want you to think these are all mine! I collect from bins in Cooperstown, NY. That's why I made the rack in the first place, but it hauls kayaks, canoes, bikes - and, if I can believe some of the posts - cattle.
