Why a 2009? They just introduced a new one for this year. It looks more like it would be brought here as an Acura.

Looks like an accord for the world market, not the north american market. Historically, the world is open to more radical vehicle designs where the US is definitely not.

the accord is called an "inspire" in japan

the "modulo" inspire is basically a perforamnce trim package consisting of: bigger wheels, better heads/tails(hid/led), aggressively styled bumpers, better seats etc.
